Chit Chat at Beth Or

Chit Chat will meet as usual on Wednesday morning at 10:00 a.m.

This discussion group addresses topics of local, national and international interest with a distinctly Jewish approach.  We talk about cultural, legal, educational, social, political, religious and secular subjects, with a text usually from the media to start us off.

Now that we are back at the Temple, there's always room for one more, so please don't hesitate.  If you're available, so are we.
If you want to be included on the Chit Chat email list, please contact Mike Leslie at hebrewnatl@aol.com.

A Tribute to Great Women: Some Jewish, Some Not!

Sunday, October 29, at 10:30 a.m.

Member Bob Olian, retired attorney, presents an informal lecture and discussion.  Learn about the first female lawyer in the United States, and about others.  Bob promises some surprising information!

Supporting Mazon

Social Action Chair Adrienne Hochman is happy to report that Beth Or donated $350 to Mazon for our Yom Kippur drive.

There are likely additional donations being

sent to Mazon directly as some members requested envelopes or will be donating via their website.

Mazon donation envelopes are available on the information table in the Beth Or Oneg Room.

Bazaar News

We have some additional room for vendors as Michael Henry is going to let us use the café! Please, if you know anyone who would like to participate, let Rhoni Tannebaum know,  and she will contact them.

This year we have some wonderful new participants, so mark your calendars for early shopping!

Bakers: We are requesting ONLY finger baked goods, like brownies and cookies, no cakes please for the bake sale. Don't be shy about chair and co- chairing the bake sale, there is still an opportunity for you to help!

The Chosen will be joining us again this year! If you need information regarding the Bazaar,  contact Rhoni at  rtclowns@bellsouth.net
or call 305-253-4155
