Shabbat Shalom!  shabbat shalom

This Friday night's service will be lead by Carol Kaminsky, dance movement therapist.  Carol will guide us through the services using movement and meditation to welcome the Shabbat. In honor of Memorial Day, Carol invites you to bring a short story or remembrance about those who fought for our country in wars.

Oneg Shabbat will follow the service!

Thank you, thank you!
to those who have generously donated to Beth Or...

Chit Chat at Beth Or

The Chit Chatters are back at Beth Or this Wednesday at 10:00 a.m.

This discussion group addresses topics of local, national and international interest with a distinctly Jewish approach.  We talk about cultural, legal, educational, social, political, religious and secular subjects, with a text usually from the media to start us off.

Now that we are back at the Temple, there's always room for one more, so please don't hesitate.  If you're available, so are we.
If you want to be included on the Chit Chat email list, please contact Mike Leslie at hebrewnatl@aol.com.

Beth Or Second Yard Sale this Sunday, May 26

Our first Yard Sale was a great success, adding over $5800 to the Beth Or coffers.  The odd hitch is always to be expected, and we thank A/C tech Rex Gibson* for heroically coming to the rescue of our air conditioning and allowing us to proceed in cool comfort!

And we do it again this Sunday from 9:00 - 1:00, so spread the word that there are bargains to be had!

Can you bake items for our Bake Sale Table?  Baked goods should be pre-packaged in clear plastic wrap in serving-portion sizes and must not need refrigeration!

Put up flyers!  You can receive the flyer via email -- please print it out and ask your local retailers and favorite hangouts to post them!

Second Yard Sale: Sunday, May 26!

Donation acknowledgment forms for your tax records will be available in person and via email.

*Need an honest AC guy?  You can call Rex and mention Beth Or.  His number is on file at the Temple office.
