Holiday Bazaar Thanks

Well, another year of shopping has come to a happy ending, or maybe just the beginning, for those of you who will contact our vendors again! It goes without saying, that it begins with Kathy, who is the voice of organization for this congregation. No event can succeed without her. We co-chairs appreciate all the help from everyone who came to set up, the bakers, the schleppers and not the least, the shoppers!

Not to diminish the importance of any of you, we

would like to thank some very special people. Celia Belsky for manning the bake sale. The raffle committee, Tom Gammon, Greta and Patricia Worth. Thanks to Irene for shopping and helping Kathy for counting all the money. Marcy Prince, who single handedly got the beautiful plants donated and put them in beautiful baskets for the buyers. She alone brought in $400+!

Thank you Beth Or, for attending and financially supporting this event, bringing your family and friends and if you see any of our vendors, be sure to thank them for participating in our annual event!

With tired feet and happy smiles

torah school

Presented by Rabbi Mark Kram and Nancy Kirsner, Ph.D., Psychodramatist.  The program is entitled "Bibliodrama: Midrash in Action," and is a form of role-playing in which the roles are taken from Biblical texts.  Enacted and enlivened in the present, this form of interpretive play is often called the action version of the Midrash.  The roles may be characters, objects, images or scenes from the Bible.

We have all read these Hebrew Bible stories for many years.  Today we will "step into the shoes" of ech of these Biblical characters and experience their lives from the inside out.

For more information, please call the Temple at 305-235-1419, or call Dr. Nancy Kirsner at 305-274-8283.
