What Brian Falconer had to say about his experience: "We were impressed at the amount of media coverage the tour received in Calgary, far more than we ever anticipated. Because of Marilyn's efforts, the audiences were steady, curious and enthusiastic and the tour's message was heard on radio, television and both daily newspapers in Calgary in the Globe and Mail and even in the Huffington Post. All in all, it was a valuable, interesting and totally worthwhile experience." Brian FalconerMarine Operations Program Raincoast Conservation FoundationSydney, BC |

Wordpress or Joomla! Websites
|

I designed and built this simple WordPress website, conceptualized, located and placed all the images, and trained Sydney how to update and maintain the website herself thereafter for $1500. I'm just about to give her final training session.
What Sydney had to say about her experience:
"We're getting lots of positive feedback on our new website. People are happy to finally see more about our programs and services. The production was easier than I thought it would be. When I first sat down with Marilyn, I felt daunted and overwhelmed with the task of redesigning our website. But, a the end of the day, I found it quite a transformative experience. The website was and will continue to provide a huge return on our relatively small investment of time, effort and money." Nine questions to ask a reporter before an interview
I advise media training clients not to conduct the interview the moment the reporter calls. Instead, I advise them to prepare for the interview the moment the reporter calls, beginning with asking them a few questions before agreeing to the interview. Journalists are generally willing to share the basics about the stories they are working on and any insights they offer will help you better prepare. They are also generally willing for you to call them back within an hour or two after you've had some time to prepare to clearly, concisely and consistently answer their questions in a thoughtful, compelling, and memorable way that tells the story you want to tell. Here are the nine questions I recommend clients ask the reporter or show producer before agreeing to a media interview
