Rummage Sale
by Melva Panitzke

The annual Rummage Sale/Bake Sale was a successful two day event. The proceeds were over $1950.00 for
the rummage sale and over $390.00 for the bake sale. This mission of Immanuel provides much needed clothes, housewares, linens, etc. for the community with most items only 50 cents. At the end of sale the "leftovers" are distributed to charitable groups such as Salem West, Dac Mart in Atikin, Catholic Charities, and Salvation Army. Thank you to all the volunteers who sorted through the items, delivered to appropriate tables, worked the days of the sale, and cleaned up on Friday night. Special thanks to those that donated items for the Rummage Sale and Bake Sale.
