Holy Week
| Palm Sunday: Holy Week began with Palm Sunday worship on Sunday, March 24th. Wing and A Prayer led worship and palms were waved during the songs.

The Seder (service) remembers the Exodus from Egypt and the meal ("The Last Supper") that Jesus had with His disciples prior to His crucifixion.Shofars (ram's horns) were blown by John Caughlan and Michael Bushard and candles were lit...signaling and honoring the start of the Festival, a delicious lamb dinner was served, hands-on teaching was done and a dance team did the Hora Dance! A special thank you is extended to EVERYONE who was a part of making the Seder a huge success! Mark your calendar: next year's Seder will be on Wednesday, April 16, 2014. If you have never attended a Passover Seder Dinner/Celebration, this is one event you don't want to miss! by Susan Bushard

Children's Ministry:
We are almost done with The Story! It has been a blast
going through the weekly lessons of The Story with the congregation. The review videos during Children's Time are very enjoyable and the lessons in Sunday school have been fun as well. We have a great group of kids coming to Sunday school every week. They make all of us teachers smile!! When we reach the end of The Story, we will be having some review lessons to reiterate all that we have covered. Thank you for taking this adventure in learning and growth. It has been fun and rewarding for all! Please watch for our new bulletin board to be displayed in the hall opposite of the nursery! I am very excited for this addition, as it will be a centrally located place to visually display the happenings of the Children's and Youth Ministries. The board will be lower on the wall, and user friendly for the younger members our congregation. Thank you to the talented wood workers Paul Fairchild, Lee Bohlin, and Virgil Panitzke who helped put this project together!!! We have such talent in our midst! Peace, Holly Hunter Children's Ministry Coordinator

Malawi Update
Jill Mattson received this letter and photos from Yami in Malawi:
Dear Jill,
I believe this letter finds you in good health. We are fine here just that it has started getting cold now.
The girls and other high school children are back in school.
I will try and load the pictures of the girls and some boys in their new school uniforms and shoes that we bought them with some funds we received they look absolutely stunning you cant believe it. We thank God for you, your church and every one who has donated to Kanyenyeva, to God be the glory. Please be free to share them with the sunday school group and the church if you want I though they may want to see the girls looking beautiful and different because of their efforts. Things are going on well at Kanyenyeva. We were there yesterday to monitor the wednesday feeding program and your friend Elise Musa sends her greetings.
Stay Blessed,
Yami
