This year has been quite an adventure for us, especially embarking on traveling full-time with our Big Blend Spirit of America Tour of all 401 National Parks. It has been a pleasure meeting old and new friends in the parks and gateway communities, and a load of fun exploring the history and nature within our parks. From the smaller parks like Fort Bowie National Historic Site to the larger Yosemite National Park, our National Parks are truly America's Best Idea, and we hope they stay open, protected, and funded, so they can continue to provide us with a better quality of life whilst boosting our local and regional economies.

This holiday season we will spend some quality time reconnecting with friends in Tucson and San Diego, and then we head up to California's Sequoia and Yosemite Country to find out what it's like during the winter in these park areas, and to see if we can snowshoe! We'll be back in January with articles, tour updates, and news about our Big Blend Radio Birthday Bash airing live on January 5, 2014. In the meantime, keep in touch with us and follow the adventures of Priscilla (our pink sock monkey mascot), on Twitter and Facebook.
