Embrace Diversity at SPAAR on January 6
Join SPAAR this Wednesday for Embracing Diversity, an education session that presents a positive, pro-active approach to embracing the opportunity we have to make home ownership available to ALL people. Participants will discover their own "Diversity Profile" and will learn how to work comfortably and build positive business relationships with a diverse clientele. The seminar will also include discussions of programs available for home ownership.
Embracing Diversity will be held Wednesday, January 6, from 11am to 1pm at SPAAR's Maplewood office (325 Roselawn Ave).
2016 Membership Dues, First Quarter MLS Invoices Due; Suspensions Take Effect January 6
2016 Membership Dues and First Quarter MLS invoices were due December 31 (Dues invoices were sent in mid-October and MLS invoices were sent in early December by email from billing@spaar.com). If you have not paid your invoice, please do so promptly to avoid suspension of MLS access and/or association services. Suspensions will take place on January 6. If you have questions regarding your 2016 membership dues and/or first quarter MLS fees, please do not hesitate to contact the association at 651-776-6000.
Deadline Approaching for 30 Under 30 Contest
Each June, REALTORŪ Magazine features 30 rising young stars in the real estate industry, and every year hundreds of real estate practitioners apply to be one of the 30 honorees. All members of the National Association of REALTORSŪ who will be under the age of 30 on May 31, 2016, are eligible to apply. Typically honorees have at least $5 million in sales, three years of experience, exhibit leadership qualities within their association, and bring innovation to real estate.
Applications are due by 12 p.m. CST on January 15, 2016. You will be able to access the online form here. Please note that you will first need to sign in with your REALTOR.org password.
