Good Housekeeping
Field sanitation is important to all farmers, but it is critical for organic growers. All crop residue is removed from the fields in order to limit pest and pathogen buildup. As we near the end of our growing season we are following up our final harvests with field clean up.

This week's shares include: Green Kabocha Squash, Green Kale, Chives, Green Bell Peppers, and, pictured above, Celeriac. The leaves, stems, and peeled root of Celeriac are all delicious either cooked, or raw.

Seasonal Bounty of our own Raw and Unprocessed Honey
Beekeeper Al Machinski just removed the reinforcement hives he placed at our farm in order to take advantage of the Autumn wildflower bonanza we experienced this year. Along with the hives, Al also removed a bumper harvest of honey. We are happy to be able to take advantage of the bounty and offer two 24oz jars for just $24.99. The single jar price is $13.99, and the two jar special pricing is only good this Saturday.
CSA members who pick up at the drop sites, or receive home delivery can add the honey, or anything else from our farm store to their share. Just email, or call us with your order.
