As mentioned in last week's newsletter, a recent break in the weather allowed us to get out into the fields and start trimming the blueberry bushes. This week, no such luck. Record-breaking cold may have forced us indoors, but we were still able to get some much needed work done, work which included replenishing our stock of Fresh Little Farm Girl soaps and body care products after the holiday rush. Above you see raw organic coconut and palm kernel oils, solidified by cool temperatures, ready to be warmed and mixed into a batch of our lemongrass bar soap.

In this thought-provoking interview, Marshall suggests we consider carefully what may be wrong with how and what we eat but also considers simple solutions to reestablish a food culture based on real food, prepared with our best interests in mind.
