KROGER COMMUNITY REWARDS

Grocery shop and support SAAP!
Hello SAAP supporter! In the 3 quarters that we have participated in the Kroger community rewards program we have earned close to $5,000 for our animal rescue. That is wonderful! We do still have the 4th quarter to go and currently have 141 households supporting us each time they use their Kroger Plus card. However, supporters MUST re-enroll their Kroger Plus Card during the month of April in order to participate in the 2013-2014 program. If you have not done so already, please go to www.krogercommunityrewards.com
and designate Stray Animal Adoption Program as the non profit charity that you want to support. Also please invite your family and friends to participate as well! Thank you so much for supporting SAAP.

| Cole is an absolutely wonderful dog. He was obviously well trained by previous owners. He is house trained and has not had even one accident in the house since his foster mom took him in a couple of weeks ago. He had ACL surgery on both knees and has Cushings Disease, but neither gets him down, probably because he's a pretty mellow dog. He gets a pill every night and eats it right out of his food bowl with his kibble. He'll consent to play with other dogs, but really isn't interested in playing with cats. He'll rip apart a stuffed animal faster than the speed of light, but doesn't chew on anything else except dog toys. He treats car rides like a day at home -- just curls up on the back seat and naps. At home, he sleeps wherever his foster mom puts his blanket. He likes to have a blanket by the couch during the day and one by the bed at night. He barks occasionally if he hears something interesting through the door or sees someone when he's outside, but he doesn't make a pest of himself. His worst habit is begging -- and that might improve if his "people" don't indulge him by throwing pizza crusts his way. Then again, maybe not! Please consider making this lovable dog a part of your family. You'll be glad you did!
