Gary Caldwell Retirement Keepsake
After 30 years of teaching at Dixie State University, Gary Caldwell will be retiring at the end of this semester. Several of his past student wish to give him a special present to thank him for he dedicated service here at Dixie.
This gift will be a book that will consist with a note, photo, or a memorable experience from a past student compiled and given to him at his final concert this year. This keepsake will help him see the difference he has made for individual students over the last 30 years. It has been asked to keep this a secret so it will be a surprise.
If you were a prior student and wish to contribute to this book, please contact James Beard at 435-703-5393 or email him at d00163230@dmail.dixie.edu

DSU Campus Housing One Step Closer to Completion
A new student housing complex, the first of its kind constructed on the Dixie State University campus since the Nisson Towers were built in 1968, reached a milestone on Thursday when the last steel beam was set in place. The Campus View Suites, located just west of Nisson Towers at 974 E. 100 S. in St. George, will open for student occupants in August, one year after the official groundbreaking ceremony. Almost half of the available spaces have already been applied for, said Jyl Hall, DSU Director of Public Relations and Marketing. The approximately 90,000-square-foot complex will be home to 352 students at the start of the 2016 fall semester.
