Miles Phillps attended Dixie State in 2007. Miles took some business classes then continued on to taking some computer classes that he enjoyed. However, he was still looking for something different so he took a biology class and really liked it so he took physiology too. At that point he knew he wanted to be in the healthcare field. He went to school on and off while working and completed his associates of science degree in 2007. He decided to go into radiography because it involves technology and healthcare. It also involved being around and working with people, because he is more of an extrovert person. ...

Pac-12 Players Transferring to Dixie State University

Former Oregon State quarterback Nick Mitchell announced on Twitter and Instagram Wednesday night that he will transfer to Dixie State. Mitchell, who left OSU's program just after the 2015 season, started five games in 2015 in place of an injured Seth Collins. But he completed just 45.1 percent of his passes for 571 yards, three touchdowns and four interceptions and was replaced mid-game against Washington after starting 0-for-7 and losing a fumble in the OSU second-to-last contest.

Brandon Miller, former guard for University of Utah Basketball, is also headed to DSU and will be part of the basketball tradition that head coach Jon Judkins has built over the last decade.
