Annie Atkin Tanner Family Gives Back

New Dean of Humanities at DSU

Richard Featherston began as the new Dean of Humanities at Dixie State University on July 1, 2015. He is from Salem, Oregon and completed his Ph.D. with criminology specialization at Purdue University, as well as other degrees and fields of studies at Western Seminary, Oregon State University, and Chemeketa Community College.

DSU Among Nation DII Game Attendance

For the fifth-straight year, Dixie State's men's basketball program finished ranked in the top-five nationally in attendance for the 2014-15 season. The report, released earlier this week by the NCAA, noted that the Storm finished with the fifth-highest attendance average in the country at the NCAA Division II level with 2,607 fans per game for 12 home dates last season. In all, a total of 31,286 fans attended a DSU game in the Burns Arena last year.
Since the 2008-09 season, Dixie State has been ranked in the top-15 in Division II in attendance, including being ranked #2-overall the past two seasons, and #3 in the country in the 2010-11 and 2011-12 campaigns. DSU was also ranked ninth-nationally in 2009-10, and 14th in 2008-09...read more

Taylor Yates started attending Dixie State in August of 2009 and received his Associate's of Science degree in May of 2014.

Dixie State senior men's basketball player Zach Robbins named the 2014-15 Pacific West Conference Male Scholar Athlete of the Year by the league office on Wednesday, July 1, 2015.
