Dear Dixie Alumni,
DSU enjoyed a wonderful commencement celebration on May 8, as 1,897 graduates of the Class of 2015 joined the ranks of the Dixie State University Alumni Association. Take a look at the Alumni Facebook page for a few highlights from the graduation festivities.
We congratulate our women's softball team who placed No. 2 in the College World Series Championship tournament this past weekend - the first DSU softball team to place this high in the tournament. We are so proud of them!
A fun event you are invited to participate in is the Northeast Chapter event in Washington D.C. on June 19th and 20th. There are several activities planned on those dates so if you are in the D.C. area at that time, please RSVP to join in the fun!

In a game that ended after the fifth inning with Dixie State beating California Baptist 11-0, Sherwin, Nicole Chavez, Marla Reiter, Courtney Hine and Bailee Freeland darted across the street from Karl Brooks Field to Burns Arena with 10 minutes remaining in Dixie State University's commencement ceremony to walk through the big red 'D' with their classmates. American Ninja Warrior' a way of life

Brian Beckstrand has been an athlete all his life. But he'd never been a Ninja Warrior - until now. The 36-year-old Beckstrand, who played basketball for Dixie College in the late 1990s when it was still a junior college, has participated in all kinds of athletic events in an effort to keep his body in peak condition. After Dixie, he played three years of hoops for Southern Virginia University and has since participated in marathons, Spartan races, basketball tournaments and other life sports.
