NEWS FROM THE RED SANDS OF DIXIE                           FEBRUARY  2013

Dear Dixie Alumni,

We hope that you have had a wonderful start to this New Year!  As we begin this year, we want to invite you to include being involved with Dixie in your new year's resolutions. Whether you are a recent graduate or a graduate of years gone by, we hope that the red sand of Dixie is still in your shoes and that you join us in showing your Dixie Spirit. It's a great time to come and enjoy the many activities that Dixie has to offer. We hope that with the launching of our alumni newsletter, it will help keep you updated on all the happenings here at the campus.

A lot has been happening here at the campus. The Board of Trustees and the Utah State Board of Regents have approved University status for Dixie as well as the name "Dixie State University".  Both are now before the legislature for approval. We're excited about the opportunities the University will bring to all of us and our community.

We hope that you have a great month!
