Exciting additions are being added to the Dixie State campus! Eight "study malls" are under construction that will benefit students who would like to study in the beautiful weather of St. George. These study malls will be covered, have seating, and will give students access to power and Wi-Fi. These Memory Gardens have been largely donated by our Alumni and each are personalized with donor plaques. |

Dixie State University Announces Reorganization of its School of Art & Letters |
Dixie State University announced this week formal plans to divide its current School of Arts & Letters into two new academic schools in time for the start of the 2013 fall semester. DSU will introduce a new School of Humanities and a new School of Fine Arts, with the change officially taking place on July 1.
According to interim DSU Vice President of Academic Services Dr. Donald Ray Hinton, the recent addition of several baccalaureate programs in the School of Arts & Letters precipitated the need for reorganization and the creation of the new academic schools. Dr. Hinton, will become the Dean of the School of Humanities and will oversee DSU's English, social and behavioral science, and humanities departments.
