What is Evening of Dixie? Evening of Dixie is a program for our Alumni filled with history, music, and a chance for the Alumni Board to honor outstanding Alumni and Volunteers of Dixie. It will be held at the Eccles Fine Arts Building at 7:00 p.m. just after the St. George Alumni Chapter Event.
This year's recipients include:
President and Margaret Nadauld- The Dixie Spirit Award Ted Johnson- The Rebel Award
Bonnie Moore- The Big D/Roene DiFiore Award
Ray and Dorothy Orton- The Community Service Award |

Dixie State University Selects Former Weber State President Dr. F. Ann Millner to Deliver 2013 Commencement Address |
|
 Dixie State University has selected Dr. F. Ann Millner, who recently stepped down as president of Weber State University, to address the institution's first university graduating class at DSU's 102nd-Annual Commencement Exercises on Friday, May 3rd, at 10 a.m., at the Avenna Center Burns Arena. Dr. Millner will also receive an honorary doctorate degree in Humanities as part of the commencement ceremony. "Ann is an extraordinary example of women in education," says DSC President Dr. Stephen D. Nadauld. "She was someone who was successful in administration and we feel she can relate to our students. New Chapter Organized in Germany |

Good news!
Bremen, Germany-Dixie Alumni Chapter is now organized and we are excited to have Yvonne Kruschel as our Chapter President. "This is a great opportunity for all of us to stay in touch, help prospective students from Bremen, who would like to study at Dixie, and to stay updated about Dixie's development as a university."
"  For the first activity together, we planned a kick-off dinner in Bremen this year in the beginning of November and I would love for all of you to be there if possible. We can share our amazing memories together and catch up."
