, of Shoreview, Minn., has been named a first-team selection on the Capital One Academic All-America Women's Soccer College Division Team.
Storms, who sports a 4.0 GPA in biology, was one of 11 student-athletes from across the United State and Canada to be selected a first-team Academic All-American by members of CoSIDA (College Sports Information Directors of America). An additional 11 student-athletes were named second-team Academic All-Americans.
Storms started all 19 games this past season for Coach Tyler Watkins' squad. She ranked second in goals scored (7) and total points (15), and shared the team lead in total shots (44).
Senior forward Jessica Ralph, of Campbellsville University, was named the Women's College Division Academic All-American of the Year.
Storms and Ralph were joined on the first team by Michelle Marcus (GK, Davenport), Molly Cowley (D, Spring Hill), Emelie Johansson (D, St. Thomas (Fla.), Kara Quinn (D, MidAmerica Nazarene), Alison Hensley (M, Westmont), Amanda Roden (M, Taylor), Carina Spengler (M, Thomas), Courtney Harlan (F, Spring Hill), and Martine Olsen (F, Embry-Riddle (Fla.).
