Champions of Kansas City

Last weekend the U11-U13 teams travelled to the Challenger Sports Invitational in Overland Park, Kansas.  The U12's and U13's both brought home championships.

U12 11v11 Gold Champions

The 02w Inferno group continued their excellent play in high level events by claiming their third major title of the 2013 season.  The group adds this past weekends' accomplishment to winning the Eclipse Select Spring Cup and US Club Regionals in the past six months.

"The girls ability to keep the ball for a majority of each game, especially against high level opponents, is one of the keys for their success.  Keeping the ball not only sets us up to attack and score goals, but it allows us to control how the other team attacks and gives us the ability to defend at a high level." 02 coach Andy Kaasa said.  The group has only given up one goal in their past 13 games.

The group beat Omaha FC and St Louis Scott Gallegher Celtic to win their group and then defeated KC Legends Inferno in the Championship 1-0.

U13 Pool Group Wins Both Silver Division Titles

The U13 Pool Group, coached by Yong Kim and Jon Engen, swept both the Silver Divisions at the CSI Invitational.
