99 NPL Boys Kick Off Champions Cup

The 99 NPL Boys play their first game Thursday morning vs East Coast Power Club PDA (NJ). Many consider MTA's group the most difficult in the tournament as the Group B also contains FC Golden State from California and the Atlanta Fire (GA).
U13 NPL Finals Schedules and Results
The Champions Cup features 14 NPL League winners who have qualified throughout a year long league and playoff process. MTA won the Midwest Development League Title defeating the Chicago Fire 3-1 in the Championship Game.

The NPL provides a unified, league-based national developmental platform with the highest level of competition in its geographic areas.
Created to elevate and change the competitive youth soccer landscape based upon US Club Soccer's fundamental principles, the NPL extends developmental principals espoused by the U.S. Soccer Development Academy into younger age groups and additional clubs, providing a platform for long-term player development.

US Development Academy Camp Begins Saturday
The USSDA camp is designed for the players that want to join the US Soccer Development Academy. The purpose will be to identify MN Thunder Academy U.S. Soccer Development players.

Camp Focus:
Technical drills Small-sided games Full-size games
Participants:
MTA and Non-MTA players. Players will be exposed to current members of the Development teams and our Academy staff.
Teams to be formed:
U14 - players born after January 1, 1999
U16 - players born after January 1, 1997
U18 - players born after January 1, 1995
Preliminary rosters announced July 24th.

99 Pool Sweeps U14 & U15 Premier League Title The 99 pool group finished off a great season with wins over Dakota REV and St Croix this week to add the U14 Premier League Title to their list of achievements. The group has done incredibly well this year winning State Cup, USA Cup Super Elite, U14 Premier League and the U15 Premier League.
