For Council/Board Agendas - BC Transit Communities Invited to Assist Review Implementation    

 
UBCM, in partnership with the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure (MOTI) and BC Transit, has established a local government working group to support the implementation of recommendations from the BC Transit Independent Review Panel. Communities that are served by BC Transit are invited to participate directly in the working group or provide input on Review Panel recommendations.  Read More

Brownfield Peer Learning Pilot Program   


FCM's Green Municipal Fund is recruiting municipal staff for a new brownfield peer learning pilot program to help communities understand and reduce barriers to redeveloping brownfields.  Apply by May 24, 2013.  Read More

UBCM Invites Convention Session Proposals 


Have a great idea for a UBCM Convention Session?  There are two opportunities for session participation at the 2013 Convention: workshops and clinics.  Those wishing to propose a session are asked to review the session proposal process and submit a proposal online.  The deadline for submissions is June 21
