Weekend Escape: Asheville Wine & Food Festival

Looking for a quick weekend escape a few hours from Atlanta? Why not go with a foodie-themed getaway and plan your trip around Asheville's Wine & Food Festival? Our northern neighbor (just three and a half hours from Buckhead) is throwing down big time for their third annual fest this August 20-22.

Where to Get Gourmet Hot Dogs

Hot diggity dog! According to the National Sausage and Hot Dog Council, Americans eat around 150 million hot dogs over the July 4th holiday alone. That is just a fraction of the 7 billion hot dogs they say this nation will eat between Memorial Day and Labor Day. While there's nothing (or everything) wrong with your standard Oscar Meyer wiener, discerning palates can step up their game at some of Atlanta's best meaty retailers and local restaurants. Here's where to go to get gourmet hot dogs this summer season and beyond.

Drinking + Games at Atlanta Restaurants

Summertime and night life are an ideal match in Atlanta. With those steamy days spent close to the A/C, people are ready to get out and mingle come nightfall. Instead of the typical bar scene, why not enjoy the bar games and social atmosphere at one of these fun-filled bars and restaurants? Let the games begin!
