Where Would Don Draper Drink?

For seven years, we've been fascinated by Don Draper on the AMC series, Mad Men. We've seen his star rise and, as the final episodes of the series air (right now!), his star may finally be falling. Or rising again.

There are three things that Draper does well: Drink, sell and... let's call it romance. So, we started wondering: If Don came to Atlanta, where would he go for a drink?

Ford Fry's Superita Recipe

Nothing pairs with the heat of summer quite like the citrusy zing of an ice-cold margarita. With Cinco de Mayo coming up, and with it, a whole season of beach weather, Chef Ford Fry shared his Mex-Tex spot Superica's recipe for the "Superita" cocktail.

Strong, with hints of salty and sweet (and some seriously snackable citrus-marinated olives), it works as a sinful standalone, or as a complementary sip to a spicy plate of South-of-the-Border fare.

Make up a batch at home, then try some of the other margaritas on the menu at the Inman Park restaurant-and sample the spot's enchiladas, puffy tacos, stacked nachos and chile rellenos while you're at it.

Atlanta Late-Night Dining

Atlanta neighborhoods are starting to see more and more eateries that stay open after midnight. Regardless of where you've spent the first part of the evening, you're never too far from a kitchen that's open until the wee hours. Here, a few reliable late-night standards in around in-town Atlanta.
