Arts for the Aging is pleased to announce the 24th Annual Mixed-Doubles Tennis Tournament benefitting AFTA. Round robin matches, finals and recreational play for all tennis players will take place in the afternoon, followed by junior champion and celebrity exhibition matches, and a barbeque and awards reception. Event proceeds benefit Arts for the Aging's award-winning workshops that combat isolation and spread joy to seniors, especially those who are frail, vulnerable and underserved throughout the D.C. metropolitan area. Hughes, a Pittsburgh, PA native and an avid tennis player since age eight, brings 14 years of tennis teaching, administration, and organizational experience to her new role. read more............
