The Olympic Impact on the Short Line Trail
Stephen and Marilyn Bailey of Holmehurst Ave. took to the Short Line Trail in their snowshoes during the recent snowstorm.

The Olympics have been on primetime for the past two weeks and CRTT has noticed an increase in trail users with skis and snowshoes.  Coincidence?  We don't think so. Shortly after the snow stopped, cross country skiers were spotted on the Charlestown section of the trail and the Baileys of Holmehurst Ave. dusted off their snowshoes for a trek down the Spring Grove section of trail.  We love having trails for all seasons.
