Several Catonsville businesses have stepped up to help CRTT raise money to continue the work on the Short Line Trail.  Joe and Cindy Loverde of Realty Concepts are the latest and they have donated $10 Home Depot Gift Cards to anyone who joins CRTT.  Donors now have three gift cards to select from including Home Depot, Catonsville Bike Shop and Atwater's Bakery.  CRTT has found that incentives increase donations three fold.

Winter Clean Up Day A Success!

Twelve volunteers braved 34 degree temperatures to clean a large section of the Spring Grove trail near Wade Ave. on Saturday, January 18.  The volunteers quickly formed teams and prepped and reseeded a muddy area.  Other teams chipped wood with a chipper donated by ABC while another team cleaned brush.

Board Member, Joe Shyrock places straw on top of a newly seeded area of trail near Wade Ave.

George Brookhart of Maryland Residential Realty provided lunch from Ledo's Pizza on Wilkens Ave.  Ledo discounts pizzas purchased by CRTT.

CRTT has regular cleanups between November and April when the vegetation has died back.  Watch for our next date.

The highlight of Saturday's event was a visit from Kit Valentine, a Board Member who has been ill but attended the clean up to watch the progress on the Short Line Trail.
