New portion of trail to be cleaned along Spring Grove property on Sat.
Catonsville Rails To Trails is steaming along, making tremendous progress on the 2.2 Catonsville Short Line Trail. Our volunteers are currently working on the Spring Grove section of the trail which extends from Asylum Lane to Wade Ave.
This Saturday, November 16th,we will be holding a cleanup day from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. and will be meeting at the Wade Avenue entrance at Spring Grove Hospital Center (near 52 Wade Avenue, 21228). We need volunteers to assist us with feeding limbs into a chipper and hauling debris to the dumpster. We also need pickup trucks and chain saws.
This is a grass roots effort by community volunteers. Get involved and plan to volunteer. Call 443-326-5474 or e-mail sweeneysmith@comcast.net .
