With the beautiful weather we've been having these last few weeks, it's hard to believe Fall is upon us once again. Nonetheless, it feels as though we've settled into a routine and that everyone is up to speed again.
In last month's newsletter, medical peelings were discussed as an efficient way to treat fine lines, wrinkles, scars, blemishes, uneven pigmentation, and damaged skin caused by aging or the sun.
Medical peelings can also be considered as a treatment against acne, that skin inflammation that is the largest cause of medical consultations than any other skin problem.
Acne is very common among teenagers: it is estimated that 80-90% of teenagers have acne at one time or another. In the majority of cases, acne clears up around the age of 20 or 30, but sometimes it lasts longer. We call this late-onset acne.
Peelings as a therapeutic means is an interesting option for treating acne or even improving the appearance of scars once the condition has stopped progressing.
An evaluation will enable us to design an individualized care and treatment plan according to your specific needs.

We look forward to seeing you at the Figurra Institute!
