Local Prayer Vigil for Marriage Planned on Eve of Supreme Court Case

The faithful are invited to attend a Pray for Marriage prayer vigil on Monday, April 27, starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Cathedral of St. Ignatius Loyola in Palm Beach Gardens. The vigil will begin in the Chapel in which we will pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet. Immediately following the group will proceed to the corner of Military Trail and Holly Drive where a rosary will be prayed.
This prayer vigil will take place on the eve before the United States Supreme Court hears oral arguments in a case that could determine the legal definition of marriage for years to come. The intention of this prayer vigil is for the good of marriage in our nation, to pray for our Supreme Court justices, and for the well-being of children.
This prayer vigil is hosted by the diocesan Office of Marriage and Family. For those not able to attend this vigil, parishes and individuals are encouraged to pray the rosary for these intentions.
The Pray for Marriage prayer vigil information is listed on the Events Calendar on the diocesan website and the listing includes prepared wording for signage that can be viewed/printed for prayer vigils.
