NSDAR Provides Funds for KDS Projects

KDS was pleased to once again receive support through a generous contribution by the Friends of DAR Schools Fund during the Friday evening DAR School Supper.  National School Chairman Sally Bueno made the presentation following the KDS School report.  This year's gift represented additional funds raised through the sale of the 'three wise owls' pin sold throughout the Young Administration.

Junior Members Show their Pride

A highlight of Continental Congress each year is certainly the Junior Membership Luncheon.  This year's event was no exception.

The Junior Membership Committee of the DAR has for more than 75 years raised money for the Helen Pouch Memorial Fund through the sales of nationally approved Junior products at the state and national levels as well as the contributions of chapters for Achievement Award credit.  Those funds are awarded to the DAR Schools annually for projects which directly benefit children.
