KDS Baseball and Softball Field Improvements are Well Underway
After months of steady progress, the KDS Baseball and Softball Field improvements are well underway.
Addressing critical drainage issues, both around and on the fields, continues to be the top priority for this project. Outside the fields, tons of sand rock and dirt were removed, making way for underground pipe and drain basins designed to carry the water around the fields, parking and seating areas. Strip drains were installed in the outfields, and grade work will be done to correct low spots in the infields.

If you have pictures in a digital format that relate to the article, submit them along with the article. Many of our readers are new to the area and do not know the wonderful, rich history of KDS School and the Town of Grant. I am sure they will be enlightened with something that you know and take for granted that everyone else knows too. |
