ASDAR State Conference
Angels were definitely in action during the 116th Alabama Society DAR Conference in Auburn, Ala., on March 7-9. KDS representatives manned a sales booth and talked with interested ladies about the projects and programs of the school.
The Alabama DAR Conference also serves as a 'dress rehearsal' for the school's newly selected Continental Congress representatives. During the Saturday morning DAR School Breakfast, KDS juniors Kaleb Gowan and Laura Grace Ayers spoke about what makes KDS such a special place to gain an education.

* On March 13, 1925, "DAR, Oh How We Love You" (sung to the tune of "Battle Hymn of the Republic") was sung for the first time for daughters arriving for the final day of the Alabama State Conference and has been sung at Dedication Day and other school functions where DAR members are in attendance ever since.
