As you gaze upon the above image and ponder the above words, what arises in you? Do you feel this abundance? Do the thoughts and stories in your mind support the feeling of abundance? Sometimes...all the time...rarely?
The image is taken from the Thoth Tarot and is the 3 of Cups. It represents overflowing feelings of love, in the highest order. Love that is so exquisitely nurturing it MUST be shared and communicated!
Abundance encompasses giving and receiving and requires us to practice these two acts in equal measure. Do you feel you are balanced in the give and take of life? Do you give more than you receive or vice versa? On which end of this dynamic
exchange do you live your life? And what is required of you to foster this delicate balance? I encourage you to inquire within for the answers to these questions, for the answers will lead you to "...THAT which does not come and go...".

Waking Up in the Deep South
Recently I attended a first-ever event of its kind here in Mississippi....A Retreat for Mississippi Women's Holistic Practitioners! There were over a dozen amazing women who gathered together to share our gifts, stories, and ideas about waking up in the South and how to serve others in their awakening here in the "Buckle of the Bible Belt"! We discovered we all share feelings of isolation and struggle with being different.......but no longer, for we have each other now, and we are eager to work together in making a healthy difference in our state.
The retreat was held at the lovely and lively Mississippi Modern Homestead Center, whose mission is to "recover fading traditions and discover meaningful living". This community is truly making a difference in so many ways concerning sustainability!
Among the women practitioners are yoga teachers, authors, life and health coaches, counselors, psychics, acupuncturists, Reiki teachers and practitioners, massage therapists, herbalists, educators, mothers, etc.
