NO DIRECTION

The path of awakening is one of evolving from lower/denser to higher/lighter levels of consciousness, and even with its many joys and celebrations, it can at times really suck. For me, it has been one of those difficult times. Throughout most of January, I experienced some agonies crowding me, and temporarily lost higher perspective. "What is happening? Where is the mojo that was so easy to access throughout most of 2012? How can I serve others when I feel so lost?" Oh, the agony of self-doubt, collapsing in the heavy, magnetic pull of the ego's drama!
I pulled out all the meditations, activations, inspirational writings and videos, Tarot cards, Rumi cards, and spiritual practices at my disposal......and looked at them as if I had never seen them before. "What is this?", I asked, "Why do they seem so empty and meaningless now?" I was reminded of the words of Jesus on the cross of crucifixion, "My God, why hast thou forsaken me?"
Finally, I simply sat and faced the agony of the sense of separation, the dark night of the soul. There was nothing left to do but accept what is, to follow where it leads.....to the "directionless". Embracing the feelings of powerlessness, hopelessness and despair and releasing/clearing the emotions of sorrow and grief, I came at last to the act of surrender. And in this surrendering, once again found myself resting in the peace of the directionless existence of the I AM Presence.
Why am I sharing this with you? Because I know I am not alone in this experience, that many of you have been and are still going through this process. You are not alone. This path is not an easy breezy one, and I feel compelled to be transparent about it. We help each other through sharing our joys, yes, but also through sharing our struggles as "spiritual beings having a human experience".
There is still present in me a sense of exhaustion in trying to muster up the inspiration to inspire others, and I know this is only ego still trying to control the outcome. This is only a fragment of fear circling the heart on its way HOME. As I write these words, I realize transparency is the greatest gift I can offer. There is great freedom here NOW.
To all you beautiful beings who are experiencing the great joy of Unity Consciousness, I say, THANK YOU FOR HOLDING THE FREQUENCY!
Many are speaking and writing now of a new development in consciousness since the Solstice, and that is - This new era we have ushered in brings with it the demand to embrace the Great Mystery on our own volition, no longer depending on a guru/master/sage for the answers. The training wheels are off now, and we are encouraged to peddle with the balance sourced by our I AM Presence. The questions and answers are found within.
And to the spiritual teachers who point us in the direction of the directionless through reflecting the I AM Presence......as we say here in the South of the U.S......................"Bless your Hearts"!

February 2013 Astrological Look Ahead

Aligning with the Greater Good
In both the New Moon and the Full Moon charts, there is a cluster of planets in the Universal signs of Aquarius and Pisces accentuating the themes of altruism and brotherhood making for a very open-hearted astrological landscape this month.
Beginning on Feb. 10, we have a New Moon in 21 Aquarius. The Sabian symbol that matches to this placement is about the importance of small comforts in our journey to mature our souls. Right here we have an admonition to be kind to ourselves as well as wanting to serve the greater good.
What we are planting on this New Moon is a desire to turn thoughts of caring for others who need our help into action. We are in an unselfish period. A square to Jupiter from Mars and Mercury in Pisces convinces us all is possible which increases our sense of generosity and we may overreach ourselves, if not careful. However, a goodly amount of luck still prevails with last month's Jupiter sextile Uranus still being in play. A square from Venus to Saturn makes us willing to put duty first but there is a sense of social excitement that will be coming soon, again, thanks to a sextile and trine to the lucky combo, Uranus and Jupiter. With Venus in Aquarius, the idea of brotherhood is even more exciting than romance or strictly one on one intimacy. We want to pull together as a group.
A week and a day later on Feb. 18, Saturn turns retrograde where it will stay until July. What this means is that we will be diving deep within our own psyches to find weaknesses in the structures we have in place, making sure there are no termites.
On Feb. 23, our good friend retrograde Mercury shows up again at 19 Pisces. (I can hear you saying "what, again? Already?"). Mercury being retrograde in Pisces is going turn even the most average Joe into a dimensional traveler. The intuitive side of our brain will seem to take over, the part that gives us those experiences and perceptions that defy logical explanation. It will also contribute to our being lost in thought more often, which my grandmother used to call "being in a brown study" in which you don't even know what you were just thinking as you stared off into space.
The Full Moon will be beaming down on us Feb. 25 in 7 Pisces. This chart gives us a Jupiter square to both Sun and Moon, with Neptune hopping a ride by being next to the Sun. Again, our optimism and kindness and generosity will be very high. A string of sextiles will cause us to see opportunities at every turn to make a difference, a real feet on the ground difference in the lives of those we wish to aid. The likelihood that our intuition will be reliable is good though, we may find a slight inward oscillation between jumping too quickly (just because we feel like it) and losing our nerve altogether if we hesitate to act too long. All in all, a very positive full moon.
So there you have it, a "not too shabby at all" February. The world stands to benefit.
