For millennia, the Masters of Esoteric Tradition have watched over Life, the seeding of consciousness and the communication between the inner worlds and this one. Through the hearts of mystics, traditions of art and medicine and science, this tradition brings forward these Ancient Songs of Creation. (click on the link for more information about the Songs.)
We gather through the grace of the tradition:
1. to learn disciplines of inner cultivation and service: awakening the senses, cleansing the heart; disciplines to restore our capacity to interact directly with the divinity of life.
2. to tend a diminishing light in our selves, our people, our planet.
3. to mend atrocities of error in the inner worlds as well as this physical world of appearances. To restore humility, integrity and dignity of life.
4. to weave a structure of relationship that will support and nourish each participant's life through teaching and experience with the inner, hidden miracles of life.
5. to preserve and watch over the Light, that it will infuse our heart and language, restore the sound of reconciliation to our word.
The 3 groups share a common purpose, though the focus and need of each one will be distinct.
We come together in the time-honored way of servants of truth, sharing time, prayer, and a living tradition of companionship and transmission. "Thus every outer has an inner; every inner has a secret; and every secret has a reality." The group has no religious affiliation; it is open to all.

Life has a substance that can allow the unexpected to happen. When we participate directly with
this hidden substance, we can weave patterns of magic into the fabric of creation.

Oneness and the Heart of the World

The mystical heart is one of the great secrets of a human being. Just as we have a physical heart that belongs to our physical body, we have a spiritual heart that belongs to our spiritual body. And this spiritual heart lies dormant within the human being until they make this step of turning towards the Divine. It is called the turning of the heart. The awakening of the heart is the awakening of our divine nature...One of the miracles of life is that, if we see it directly without the interference of the ego and the mind and the thought patterns, life is one. Oneness is the most natural experience of life that is experienced through the heart. It is one of the central esoteric secrets of what it means to be a human being and what this heart really means.
We talk a lot about love, but the love we talk about is usually between people, an emotion. Well really there is this pure, pure substance within the heart that is the essence of love. Mystical life is uncovering that essence, uncovering that substance. It is a very, very beautiful substance - this divine love within the heart. It is almost like liquid gold. It is our divine nature and it is divine love. It exists within the heart.
... I always say if people knew how much they were loved, their problems would go away. We cover ourselves. We protect ourselves with our problems, with our images with our self. And all around us there is this great mystery.
I think if we just say Yes. "Step into the arena of Love"... What happens then is the business of the Beloved, Love Itself. This incredible mystery that is waiting to be lived, if you dare, if you dare to step out of the safe, confines of what you think you are, into the mystery, into the wonder, into the vastness of what you really are. That is why it says, "Heaven and earth cannot contain me, but the heart of my devoted servant can". The heart, this heart, this spiritual organ, can get as big as the universe. It is amazing. There is nothing more beautiful. It starts to spin. It starts to work. I won't say what it does, but it takes you where you cannot even imagine. Into the beyond, and also, more and more, into the real mystery of what this planet really is, of what is really happening here, of what is struggling to come alive, of this beauty that is waiting to happen, of the heart of the world that is waiting to wake up. And all we have to do is to say yes.

GreenLight, the group, meets each time for 29 hours. GreenLight, the Place which is opened by the group, is a borderland, alive and waiting. The group is met at each gathering, guided into the place between: between night and day, inner and outer, heaven and earth, divine and human.
Each participant learns to track, follow, respond to the pervasive intelligence and mystery of life.
We work in the borderlands of psyche, a light of truth that penetrates dissonance, artifice, the illusions of this world. To step into an opening in the forest that has been prepared, emptied, at the turning time of each season.
The learning is organic, eruptive and beautiful. The work weaves from the wild of the earth into the wild of the dream and back. A practice of purification and wonder.
GreenLight is a place where the dreams/archetypal complexes that have driven one's life give way in the laser green light of renewal and love. Current participants speak how the 29 hours feel like 7 days. Green, the power of Genesis, arrives through any previously believed obstacle. GreenLight is a group that will continue to grow. The archetypal structures that underpin life arrive, each time, through the opening ceremony of the group, and guide us down and in. Great hilarity and terrifying leaps, both, arrive beneath our feet.

Lantern is hidden. A light hidden in the darkness of our collective psyche that bids certain wayfarers to leave home, no matter the cost. This group travels together, as servant, scribe into the unknown riverbeds of our western consciousness. This land of the gods, the inner archetypal world has been desecrated by human entitlement: our insatiable lust for power, meaning, profit and esteem. Those who knew how to travel between these worlds in service to the soul of the Earth and humanity are very few now.
The group meets 3x's per year; 2 times in Vermont and once as part of the 3 Lights Gathering in Maine. The group gathers in a retreat center in Vermont where the land has been tended for many decades. This is a residential retreat where all participants work, sleep and dream under one roof.
To be received by the inner world requires training the imagination, purifying the heart, and a spiritual practice of atonement. This group will include study, writing and deep intimacy as part of the work. The territory is the dream, the vision, the world within the world to which the soul longs to travel.
This work demands humility that we may be servants to preserve life. And also devotion, that pollen waiting to be found in the inner world may travel back with us into our world now.

This tradition preserves and works with the true magic in creation, unraveling what is real from the confinement of our mind, our desire, our fear, the world our minds have fashioned.
The magic of creation, the vital and sacred intelligence inside life, weaves stories of love back into life. We live in a time of madness...a time when life as we know it is dying, the colors dimmed to grey, our hearts run for cover. Streetlamp calls to those artists and physicians who cry out for Beauty!, for training and companionship in the hidden chambers of Love, the original home of the Muse.
Streetlamp is the third group of the 3 Lights Project, beginning this year, 2016. We will begin simply: one day to listen for instruction. Our work will happen in the public domain. We will live and work inside a 7-year performance, surgery. Musicians, Dancers, Surgeons, Writers, Sculptors...a call to those artists, in the truest sense of the word, who are working to see and hear what is coming. Those, who, from within, feel a requirement to respond. The Muse waits. The Medicine waits.
Artists know how to give themselves entirely to the blank page. Physicians to the precision and excellence required to reach the cure. Scribes to the greatest mystery, the intelligence inside of Life, the Heart. Their hands together can bring through the fragrance of the Source.
To part the ribbons of light and enter is to gather in a place, here and now, where time stands still. We gather at a word that cannot be spoken, only heard, only approached through the trained heart of a sincere human being. Neither ceremony nor performance. Neither past nor future. Neither male nor female, day nor night. Where the longing of Life for Life is remembered, lived.
This is a Tradition at the hem of the Divine given for the outpouring of Love from the One to the Many. We are in service to the heart of the world, to the promise that we ourselves can become the seed. We give our human muse to this light of oneness.

The Song of Heaven in 3 Notes:
The Dark behind the Dark
We gather once a year, all three groups, for a residential retreat near the Winter Solstice. The groups come together at the door of the mandate of this perennial descent.
The Song of Heaven is a training that restores the emptiness, the void in the heart of an individual, of a group of seekers willing to be remembered as One Heart, One Hand. To reach Heaven in the heart of the World, restore Love as the Lord and Sovereign. Only through the emptiness of the heart does Divine Love reach its mark. The human heart...imagine a golden compass that spins in the vast space between suns. Imagine within this oracle, this particular instrument, there lies dormant the recognition of all sound, every name. We were given the capacity to live the communication between all worlds. The authority from the emptiness of the heart. We need return to the core of our being, to the place where the sacred comes into existence. The mystical feminine holds the key to this work of redemption and transformation.

Each person will register annually for participation in the group(s).
To register:
1. email Noah at: The Unseen Hand no less than 2 weeks prior to the 1st gathering of the year to let us know you will be participating, and 2. A non-refundable deposit of $75 for the year is required upon registration.

Every effort has been made to keep costs to a minimum. The fee for tuition is for the whole year. This fee includes supplies and all work that happens between sessions.

Dear One and All,
This project, 3 Lights, has been many years calling. As with all poems, arks or children, such a light haunts and wakes one in the night over decades. How a heart is prepared to stand present to her/his time. I have been given Teachers, extraordinary in their devotion and labor, to teach me to wait, to listen, to give the dream away and to cease coveting.
I was 50 when I heard my teacher say that the human heart is given as the place where the worlds intersect, where the language of oneness is seeded. Love, the substance of creation, is the universal translator. The schools have disappeared behind the mists where one capable of such training can go, where one receives the necessary disciplines, companionship and instruction.
We live in a time of madness, a time when the hunger for more seems insatiable, when we are willing to take until there is no beauty left. The ancients warned of this time of hungry ghosts. Even 50 years ago we could not have imagined the tar fields of northern Canada nor the epidemic of violence and depression in our people. We live in a time where our lands are soaked with the crimes against Nature. We live in a time where, beyond hope, a language of reconciliation is urgent. We live at the end of one era, with longing and prayers for another.
And we are put on earth a little space,
That we may learn to bear the beams of love.*

To look at life on this earth, and at human life in particular, from the standpoint of a very high intelligence engaged in an almost impossible enterprise... The task of the Masters of Wisdom is to bring into existence beings capable of providing the earth with a soul, by achieving such a degree of mutual love and such wisdom as to be able to act as one and yet retain their individual freedom. Humankind today represents an early stage in the accomplishment of this task.
They were to demonstrate the power of humility and weakness, and from that demonstration to lead humans back to Love. They developed a Master Training which, of course, could not guarantee transformation in love, yet nevertheless, resulted in a centuries-long lineage of purity and enlightenment that may be unsurpassed in the history of spirituality.
