LIVERPOOL LEGENDS INVADE
THE LAKE OF THE OZARKS'
MAIN STREET MUSIC HALL

Lake of the Ozarks, MO. - One of the most celebrated and well-known Beatles tribute bands, The Liverpool Legends, will invade the Lake of the Ozarks for a two-night run at Main Street Music Hall in Osage Beach, March 11 and 12.

The Beatles first captured the hearts and imaginations of generations of American fans with their first appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1964. From there, The Beatles went on to change the face of popular music. Arguably the most well-known and most influential band of all time, The Beatles have often been imitated but rarely as closely and authentically replicated as they are in the careful and capable hands of the members of the Liverpool Legends.

For those who never had the distinct pleasure of experiencing The Beatles in concert, this is the next-best thing. This Grammy-nominated quartet was hand-selected by Louise Harrison, the sister of the late George Harrison, the Beatles' resident guitar virtuoso. Louise felt she could create a more authentic band by personally picking the members, both for their striking physical resemblance to the original Beatles and also for their musical talent and expertise. Louise's involvement in Liverpool Legends makes them the only Beatles tribute band with a direct family link to the original "Fab Four."

Liverpool Legends
"Each member of the group is so close to the originals that I often feel like I'm transported back in time with the lads. These are exactly the kind of fun loving quality musicians that my brother George would have loved to hang out with," says Harrison.

Hailed as "the complete Beatles experience," the Liverpool Legends have been perfecting their craft for over a decade at their home theater in Branson, Mo. The Legends have also been touring the world over fanning the flames of "Beatlemania," including shows in legendary venues across Europe that are an integral part of the annals of Beatles history. The two nights at Main Street Music Hall are a part of their 2016 spring tour where they will also be playing Carnegie Hall in New York before heading to the Lake.

Liverpool Legends Sgt. Pepper
2016 marks the eighth year the Legends have performed at the Lake of the Ozarks. Central Missouri's Tri-County Lodging Association (TCLA) has been integral in bringing the Legends to the Lake every year. Jim Divincen, administrator for TCLA, who is a huge fan of the original "lads from Liverpool," saw the Liverpool Legends in Branson and immediately knew they had to come to the Lake of the Ozarks.

"The Liverpool Legends are simply amazing and their shows quickly became extremely popular here at the Lake," Divincen says. "They're performing the greatest hits of the most legendary musical group to ever exist and the precision of the production, the group's harmonies and the costuming are probably the best in the world.  It's a very entertaining evening of live music and the popularity and quality of the music is evident in the range of ages in the audience."

Divincen also adds that TCLA has intentionally kept the ticket prices at a reasonable amount to give as many people the opportunity to enjoy the performance as possible. "If you're a fan of The Beatles, then you don't want to miss the Liverpool Legends."

With painstaking attention to every musical detail, including vintage instruments and special effects, this show takes audiences back in time, giving them the full Beatles "experience."  These talented artists faithfully recreate the "Fab Four's" performances throughout their career. Wardrobe changes represent different eras of the band's history and then continue on through the years of the band members' solo performances. Vintage video footage of the Beatles serves as the backdrop for the live performance and audience members are invited to fill the area of the theater near the stage, lending a "live concert" atmosphere to the show. The result is a widely acclaimed and crowd-pleasing tribute that has earned the Liverpool Legends major accolades in Branson, including "Best New Act," "Best Band," "Best Show," and the prestigious Vistors' Choice Award for Entertainers of the Year for two years running.
