The talented cast at Main Street Music Hall performs classic radio hits during the Reelin' in the Years show.
The Main Street Music Hall, located in Osage Beach, has been a Lake of the Ozarks staple for over 20 years and features live musical entertainment and variety shows year-around. Visitors looking for an authentic Ozarks experience will surely enjoy the Best of Main Street Opry variety show, which combines the slap-stick comedy of Thom "Gabby" Gum with musical performances from the talented cast, impersonations and beautiful costuming. For those looking for more of a throwback vibe, the Reelin' in the Years show will be more their speed. Reelin' in the Years has been a big hit with audiences over the last four years and features live renditions of some of the most popular music from the '60s, '70s and '80s, along with period costume changes. And, visitors to the Lake area during the holiday season can enjoy the Christmas on Main Street show, which features holiday carols, gospel hymns, musical impersonations and more.  The Christmas show is offered on weekends beginning in November and continuing through December. The three shows offered at the Main Street Music Hall are regularly updated with new songs, skits and costumes, so audiences can expect a different entertaining performance every year.

The Liverpool Legends are always a favorite at the
Lake of the Ozarks.
Every March, the Main Street Music Hall is invaded by the Grammy-nominated Liverpool Legends, the highly-acclaimed Beatles tribute band hand-selected by the late George Harrison's sister, Louise Harrison. The show takes audiences back in time, giving them the full Beatles experience as these professional artists faithfully recreate the "Fab Four's" performances throughout their career.  Wardrobe changes represent different eras of the band's history and then continue on through the years of the band members' solo performances. Vintage video footage of the Beatles serves as the backdrop for the live performance and audience members are invited to fill the area of the theater near the stage, lending a "live concert" atmosphere to the show. For more information about the Liverpool Legends, please visit LiverpoolLegends.com.

The major marquee venues aren't the only way to enjoy an evening of great live music at the Lake. With over 200 restaurants and bars throughout the area, there is no shortage of options when it comes to choosing how one should spend their evening when visiting the Lake. Many of the Lake's eateries and night spots feature live music on any given night during the summer season, and most weekends throughout the rest of the year, making it easy and delightful to catch a great band at a favorite spot. From rock and roll to jazz, country to bluegrass, music lovers can take their pick.
