LAKE STOCK FALL CRAWL OFFERS GREAT FOOD, LIVE MUSIC
Lake of the Ozarks, Mo. --  "Woodstock on wheels" is the way organizers describe the Lake Stock Fall Crawl at Central Missouri's Lake of the Ozarks.  Saturday, Nov. 8 is the date for the event, which will be held at numerous restaurants and bars around the Lake.

The success of the annual winter Mardi Gras Pub Crawl led organizers to add this second crawl into the Lake's fall events calendar.  "Good food and live music are what these events are all about," said Jeff Carroll, president of Mardi Gras Pub Crawl, Inc.  "You'll hear rock, blues, country and alternative music, all done 'Lake of the Ozarks style.'"

Crawl participants purchase a $10 wrist band that serves as an all-access pass into Lake Stock entertainment venues, without paying a cover charge. The wrist band also includes shuttle service from local hotels in a continuous loop to all of the Fall Crawl locations. Shuttles begin running at 6 p.m. with the event officially kicking off at 7 p.m.  In most locations, live musical entertainment will be showcased from 8 p.m. until closing.

"The list of venues and performers is being finalized now, with at least 10 venues already confirmed," Carroll said. "Keep checking www.LakeStockFallCrawl.com for updates as the Fall Crawl approaches," he added. In addition to the live entertainment and great food, "crawlers" are eligible for prizes and giveaways throughout the evening to ensure a fun and festive event.  Carroll urged participants to book their lodging packages now and to purchase wrist bands and Fall Crawl apparel throughout October to get ready for the fun.

"Your Pub Crawl wristband allows you to put your keys away and count on having a great, worry-free evening out on the town," he said.  Carroll expects the Fall Crawl to be bigger and better in this, its second year, and hopes it will grow to be as popular as the Mardi Gras Pub Crawl, which attracted nearly 7,000 people this year.  "Together, these two events offer people the opportunity to continue to enjoy the Lake both before and after the traditional summer vacation season," he said.
