Lake of the Ozarks Travelers Have Their Choice of Accommodations

Lake of the Ozarks, Mo. - The Lake of the Ozarks offers travelers numerous choices of things to do and places to see.  However, visitors may be surprised to learn their choices at the Lake carry over to accommodationsand not just where they stay, but how they stay.

CABINS AND FAMILY RESORTS

Cabin accommodations and family resorts have been around the Lake of the Ozarks almost as long as there has been a Lake.  Visitors can choose just how many - or how few - creature comforts they want to have at hand during their stay.

In the Rough
Ozark Trails Family Campgrounds offers picturesque cabins that allow visitors to get in touch with their rustic side.
Rustic cabins offer accommodations for those who want to enjoy the outdoors without pitching a tent.  These cabins offer items like dining tables and chairs, wood-burning stoves, electricity, ceiling fans and lighting, air conditioning and supplemental heating, plus sleeping accommodations in beds and futons.  Outside, cabins offer tables and benches and fire grills for barbequing or campfires.  Restrooms, shower houses and drinking water are offsite, but within walking distance.

Cross Creek RV Park offers five tree house cabins for a new perspective on camping.
Among the Birds
The Lake area abounds with cabins to rent,
but only a few qualify as tree houses. Set high among the trees, these rustic cabins offer a bird's-eye view of the Lake's beauty.  They sleep 4-6 people in beds and lofts and include sinks, microwaves, refrigerators, coffee makers, barbeques and fire pits.
