Greetings!,

We thought you would like to see our young parishioners, Kat, Eleanor and Caroline  with their medals for their joint science project! Their project was
"What temperature of water kills the most bacteria."

They are so excited they have been selected from Dixie to go to the County competition!

Congratulations!

Our neighbor Carlos is providing the coffee at the moment so all that you need are goodies and half & half, and occasionally juice. (We often have that in the fridge.)

Please note:
The coffee pots need to be emptied and rinsed out so that they can be taken back to Carlos.

The new dishwasher is working. Please set it going before you leave.

World News This Week in Prayer

Grounded in faith, strengthened by grace,

Let us open our hearts to God in prayer saying:

God, hear our prayers for healing and peace

and in your love answer.

Eternal God, as we journey with Jesus to the cross, we recall the betrayal, the pain and the suffering he endured for us. Humbly before you, we acknowledge the betrayal, pain and suffering that exists in the world today. Guide us we pray, so that our actions and our words may bring your healing and peace to all people, all nations and all of creation.

We pray for those who were killed and those who were injured by a series of car bombs in Shia areas of Iraq.

God, hear our prayers for healing and peace

and in your love answer.

We pray for those who were killed in landslides in the mountainous area north of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, after heavy rains.

God, hear our prayers for healing and peace

and in your love answer.

We pray for those who died in a blast at a bus station in the northern Nigerian city of Kano.

God, hear our prayers for healing and peace

and in your love answer.

We pray for those who were killed and those who were wounded by a massive car bomb in the center of Somalia's capital city, Mogadishu.

God, hear our prayers for healing and peace

and in your love answer.

We pray for those who were killed and those who were wounded by the firing of a chemical weapon in north Syria.

God, hear our prayers for healing and peace

and in your love answer.

We pray for those around the world who are victims of violence, knowing that up to seven in ten women globally are victims of acts of violence.

God, hear our prayers for healing and peace

and in your love answer.

We pray for the people and the places that are unknown to us; the people and the places that do not make the news; the people and the places that suffer in silent isolation.

God, hear our prayers for healing and peace

and in your love answer.

Most Holy God, we pray that your love, your peace and your grace will reach all who are in need this day. In the strong name of Jesus we pray.

Amen
