 MARCO IS A NO FIREWORKS ZONE!!  (as is ALL of Florida!)  Protect our EAGLES and other wildlife and our quality of life.  If you see folks breaking the law call (239) 389-5050 during normal hours or 911 after hours. 
Sadly, last New Year's Eve (during nesting season) fireworks in the Eagle Sanctuary neighborhood frightened the adult eagles away from the nest and the eggs/eaglet in the nest did not survive as predatory birds got to the nest resulting in the death of the eaglet and loss of eggs.
