       Dear Friends,

November is the month we all pause and give thanks for the many blessing we enjoy. Many of those blessing are with family and friends but we also give thanks to those who have chosen, as their career, to serve and care for others in the medical field. We acknowledge and thank the doctors, nurses, hospital staff, therapists, receptionists and researchers that care for us each day.

I would also like to acknowledge and thank you who have given of your time, talent, and treasure to support those doctors doing research as well as those cancer programs designed to support the many cancer warriors in their various stages of treatment. Working together, we do make a difference.

As Albert Schweitzer said long ago, "If the only prayer you ever say in your entire life is thank you, it will be enough." So I say to each of you thank you. Thank you for your love and care for others.

           Until Next Time...

Giving Thanks

The fall leaves remind me, once again

That Thanksgiving will soon be here.

That special day when we all give thanks

As we look back over this past year.

I am very thankful for the gift of life,

To be able to go and be and do,

For the doctor's who provide such good care

For me as well as to you.

I'm thankful for the research

That is being done each day,

For soon the fear of cancer

Will all be chased away.

I'm thankful for those mighty teams

Of doctors and therapist who give

Their time and talent to their patients

So they will thrive and live.

I'm thankful for the support of all

Who have given their time, treasure, and talents,

To help us support those cancer warriors

These many gifts are hard to measure.

So as you enjoy this Thanksgiving Day

May you count your blessing too.

And use your gifts to bless others

For that's why they've been given to you
