 Dear Friends, 

      

       It seems the people who choose a career in the medical field are a very intelligent and unique group. It is a daunting feat ahead but they are there with purpose and drive.

 

     This year I again had the opportunity to speak to a group of medical students at the Stanford University School of Medicine about the cancer patients experience. I am always amazed and delight to be with these young people who are focused, driven and very compassionate about what they are doing. I applaud them and wish them all well in their chosen fields.

You all possess many talents and gifts,

 

You're intelligent, have passion, and drive.

 

Stanford will nurture your special talents

 

And those talents will then come alive.

 

 

 

You will make a difference in your chosen field

 

As you run this marathon race.
