Our World

Cancer Free

""The Earth reminded us of a Christmas tree ornament hanging in the blackness of space. As we got farther and farther away it diminished in size. finally it shrank to the size of a marble, the most beautiful marble you can imagine
."
James Irwin, Astronaut who walked on the moon in 1971

Blue Dot Ornament

Our blue dot ornaments are an image the world.
When we give these as a gift to our friends we say,
"Envision a world free of cancer and may it be so."

Why are we called
My Blue Dots?

Before you go through radiation for cancer, you are tattooed with blue dots. These blue dots mark where the radiation beams go into
your body to kill the cancer.

 Dear Friends,

As we celebrate this festive time of the year when we give as well as receive gifts, this poem states  the gift I would most like to be able to give.

Thanks to each of you we are doing our best to make this gift
of a world free of cancer become a reality.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all.

           Until Next Time...

Cancer Free

If I had just one gift to give
What would that gift be?
Would it be things of this old world
Or intangible things you can't see.

My gift would be of hope and health,
Of a world that is cancer free.
Gone forever this horrid disease
That affects both you and me.

These hand blown blue dot ornaments
Are a symbol that we are free.
Whole and healthy once again saying,
"Cancer will not conquer me."

So in my minds eye I will remember
That the blue dots have helped cure me,
And someday in the very near future,
The whole world will be cancer free.
