Summer is almost here and if you were in the East you will love it! Our winter has been long and chilly. Therefore, we welcome summer.
We trust you will read the Newsletter this month with an open heart, mind and spirit so that you grow spiritually. A life of joy is possible only after we have released and dissolved all negatives. This sometimes take a lot of energy and time, but we have confidence in you and believe you will succeed.

Our Country
I know this will not be news to you, but I want you to know that I am concerned about what is going on in our country. Our School System needs to be upgraded.
When I read that they want to make it a law that teachers could carry guns, I asked myself, "Would you want to teach in the School System today?" My answer was Heavens NO." I could not survive in the School System today and I bless all those who teach.
To me, we need to put God back in the School System. With God, there is respect, Divine Love and faith which is really confidence. Children need these strong emotions to survive and do well in school just as adults need these strong emotions also to survive in this world.
Respect, which means admiration, esteem, reverence, high opinion, regard, matter, point, sense, value, look up to, appreciation, acknowledgement, agreement, compliance and acquiescence are essential if we want to succeed in life.
With Divine Love, affection, adoration, friendship, tenderness, feeling, devotion, amity, goodwill, harmony and good relations is just as important. Unless we have something greater to look up to, we tend to join whatever is before us.
Right now that is our phones! I see children and adults walking with their heads looking into a phone constantly. They have no idea where they are walking OR do they? I know we have peripheral vision and thank God for that, but there is a place and a time for all things.
God also stands for Faith, which in actuality is confidence, trust, reliance and Thoreau suggested that we get-self-reliance. Faith also stands for conviction, belief and assurance. All these qualities we need in great abundance in our life.
Rev. Fred and I both have said that the day they took God out of schools and saluting the flag was a big mistake. I intend to speak to our Senator and make the suggestion to return God to our School System. We trust you will take action according to your own beliefs.
May life become enthusiastic and filled with Divine Love and Divine Understanding.

Act as Though I Am
This is part of a phrase I have heard since entering Religious Science. We can find it in 2 places in the textbook by Dr. Ernest Holmes on pages 147.3 and 323.3. This phrase has always concerned me, because if it is not truly understood it can lead one to believe that there is nothing that we have to do except sit back and allow Divine Providence to work. This is far from the Truth!
The key lies in the very first word, which is "ACT". There are 89 plus synonyms for this word. Act means that we are to DO SOMETHING! Thus, Act as though I am______________ and I will be____________ means that we will be doing something. I believe if this had been written in this manner, we would have progressed further and quicker. We would be more secure in God and enlightened.
We are to write or say after "am" what we want done or performed. We are to state our edict. That is being specific!
Then this would sound like this: Act as though I am peace and I will be peace. This would let Our Father know that you want peace. Act as though I am peace of mind and I will be peace of mind. This tells God that you want a peaceful mind. These two ideas are different. If our mind is NOT peaceful, we would be in trouble. That is where many of us are today. The world is considered to be at peace, but there are many who do not experience peace of mind. If they did, guns would not even be necessary.
I long for the day when man will realize that we have 2 eyes to see good, 2 ears to hear good and one mouth so that we can speak good. Thus, FORCE or CONTROL would be unnecessary. Could you live in a world like this? Let us pray for it.

Do We Still Have Choice in the USA?
I know you are wondering if I have lost my mind. I want to assure you that I am very sane. Some of you may know that I love Star Trek and Star Trek Next Generation.
I also want you to know that if you knew anything about Roddenberry, you would know on his shelf he had a Science of Mind Textbook. Long before I knew that, I also knew that he was "right on" about some of the ideas that lead us into the future.
What brought about this question was the segment on May 29, 2016 about a Star Trek person who wanted to disassemble Data so he could learn more about him. That was "his" statement, but if you really listened carefully, anyone would realize that jealousy was part of this person's desire.
It boiled down to the Captain bringing this out, but he called it as "not liking" Data. They had a trial to try and make Data submit to being disassembled. When the statements about what makes one sentient, the words "freedom to choose" came up. This sparked thought in me, for it appears that we may have inadvertently dismissed our ability of choice by saying that the state and church are separated. That means in actuality that we do not have the freedom to choose or that the Congress people do not have the freedom to choose. Now, if any of the Congressmen use the word God, they can be punished.
We have also taken God out of the School System and now wonder what is wrong with the children. There are guns and more guns, all kinds of disruptions and we wonder what is going on in our School System. Their freedom to choose has been taken away. There is truly no way to get around that statement. We have chosen for the children and our choice is NO GOD. I had a student in my class that refused to even face the flag when we said the pledge and I immediately asked, "Do you refuse the good that comes from all those who have protected us in wars? You do not have to say the pledge of allegiance, but you do have to face the flag! That is respect! That is all the Pledge of Allegiance is-respect!"

We want God to bless us without our blessing God and that will never work! Things may move along smoothly for a while and the moment it counts, that is when we learn that if we want to receive, we are to give!!

Securing Our IP Addresses
It has come to me that perhaps many of you feel that the Reverends never experience the negative, but I want you to know that everyone at some period of time has trouble to visit. We just don't talk about it.
Right now because I have learned something, I want you to know that when we have our computers secured with McAfee or Norton it does NOT secure your IP address.
This month our troubles increased, which is the major reason that the Newsletter is so late, because I learned what IP means and the importance of having it secured.
As we have moved into the idea that even as a teacher the job may eventually call for teachers to carry guns for protection from YOUNGSTERS, which is ridiculous, absurd, preposterous and outrageous! We also have to protect our network on the computer.
We are now secure when I do research on our computer and I do a lot of that. I feel it is important to be correct since we are a "Teaching" Website. You will find that many times you are referred to a site and I pray you do read what is there, for it is done with care and Divine Love. I do this, because it is illegal for me to copy something and simply place it in our Newsletter when I was NOT the author. I trust you appreciate this.
At any rate, I trust you will make sure that you are secure to keep prowlers out.

Ideas for Spiritual Growth
The Way the "World" works:
- The "world" asks questions, but if the answer is not what the "world" wants then it generally goes back to "God" and it asks again in a different way. This process goes on until the answer that the "world" wants comes to that person. This "worldly" part of us is during the asking.
- When the answer comes and what we want, not what "God" has given, does not work, then that "worldly" part of us blames the "God" to which the "world" prayed.
- When that "God" does not answer again, then that "worldly" part of the prayer says, "I knew there was no "God" or "I knew that this does not work or "I don't believe in church anyway, they all are a farce" or "They all are simply out for the money."

- God hears our prayer and gives the answer that is for the "highest good for all concerned," because this wonderful Power know more than we do. It knows all the cracks, holes, crevices, gaps, fissures, splits, clefts, fractures and crannies that we do not know about.
- God considers everything and that which will work best for the "prayer" is given.
- If we ask another question that may include parts of the first question, you will not get an answer! God is always thorough, very methodical, careful, systematic, meticulous, scrupulous, detailed and very comprehensive, even though we may not act in such a way and in actuality really do not want that kind of an answer.
- Listen with an open heart.
- Hear with an open mind.
- Hear with an open spirit.
- Pay attention to every word.
- When the answer is different from what you expected, ask NOT another question on the same subject matter, but get clarity of what the answer means.
- Simply state: I need clarity regarding this answer.
- If you need further help, then say: What is the first thing that I need to do." Make it so very simple so I can understand it easily and gently or "Show" me what the first step looks like.
- We never question God regarding His capabilities!
- God created everything, therefore He knows the intricate, complete, obscure or multipart or diverse parts of the question.
10.We do not always know the homogeneous (that which has a uniform composition or structure) or that which will bring harmony.
11.The person who asks questions is a person who is unafraid of growth.
12.We must learn to listen and to hear God, no matter what the world says and no matter what our peers say or what people say.
13.We are to answer to God.
The Things That Will Really Help Are:
- Be ready to choose wisely
- Know that God is for you and never against you
- Be willing to love generously (even those who may have hurt or harmed you in some manner)
- Always keep an open communication line with God and with people
- "L E T" God guide and protect you-free from fear
- Be willing to look at what needs healing
- Allow yourself to grow spiritually
Remember that God knows what we or what people do not know. When the Pharisees did not want them to speak the name of Jesus again and of miracles that Jesus performed, the apostles said, "Do you think God wants us to listen to you or to Him?"
(I notice that I used the word "apostle" and that I do not understand, for Jesus never called "The Twelve" apostles. That is a Roman term. Jesus used the word "disciple." I also think it important to Love the Lord, our God. Be Religious. Remark on 6/4/2016)
This article WAS WRITTEN by me and was in this computer months ago, but I could NOT find it anywhere. I looked in the trash can, archive file and I searched by title, but could not find it. Since I had worked on the article just a few months ago, it had to have been stolen from my computer. Some time ago, I learned there is a company in Stamford that is called, "The Way the World Works." I thank God that He guides me to print out everything. Now, I also make sure that I fill out the properties on each article that I write or anything that I write.
When marketing came in all kinds of unholy activities began to take place. One day we will learn that God loves honesty, pure thoughts and I am now learning the meaning of softness. You will see more of that in our Newsletters.

I trust I am helping in building your life, for it is precious to me. Some time ago I found a website about soy that said it caused baldness. The article on optimum health is the only one that hints to hair loss now. Could it be that companies that sell ideas about growing hair has suppressed this? We are about life here at Universal Wisdom Fellowship.
I know what change or even the idea concerning change can trigger in us, but please understand that is the reason we are living today - to make changes in what we have done in the past.
For a long time, we were vegetarian and soy was the main protein. I had NO IDEA the problems it could cause and the false statements that were taught about soy. You will NOT find this word "soy" in the Scripture. The word is grain.
Most people will take what someone says free from research and that is sad. I don't say that everything should be researched, but certainly there are many things that we are to pray about and get our answers from God.
You may wonder for what reason I am telling you these things when we are supposed to think ONLY the affirmative or positive. As a Minister, if I know something and do not tell you, it weighs heavy on me and that is the same for Rev. Fred.
I pray you will accept the enlightenment.
