Life Is As Beautiful As You Allow It to Be
Inspirational Typographic Quote - Whatever s good for your soul go do that

We try to keep everything on the positive side of life, but we have learned until we face ourselves on a regular basis, to note the negative is important, for we never grow until we face ourselves and make necessary changes.

The constant questions that are important for each of us to ask ourselves when we read the Wisdom of Science of Mind and The Source Within Newsletter are, "Does this apply to me? Am I doing this? Am I listening to others rather than Our Father? Would it be wise for me to do this?" What do I need to change?"  This is good practice for this month of October. Let your mind soar toward goodness.

Let Us Advance

The articles this month can grow the soul if each individual decides to put them in practice. Life is beautiful and who better to receive blessings from Our Father than each individual that embraces what is here.

Let us know that life reveals each as part of the Universe's wealth, for being poor are the ones whose spirit is lacking.

Jesus made it clear to us that the poor would always be with us. The spirit that is lacking is faith and with this spirit, the poor ones do not understand religion and leave the teaching.

The earthly one is their god now. Those who left want to know TRUTH again, but there is nothing that we can do to make one think wealth, happiness, joy, or TRUTH.

We think it is wise to abide by the words that the Pope delivered to Washington, Congress, United Nations, Philadelphia, and the other places that he visited.

None of what he said is difficult. It simply means that GOOD is to abide in the United States of America.

What Is Grace?

By Rev. Pat

We in the Wisdom of Science of Mind Studies have not had the luxury of knowing what "GRACE" is, for even in our Ministerial Studies we were untaught about this attitude of mind. I am learning now that Grace is a gift from God and that we have to have the mind that Christ has in order to receive this gift.

In my research, I came across this teaching of what Grace is and I find it remarkable. This, I believe, we are to teach everyone. It is fine to be different, but when it comes to Our Father, there is no difference! Each of us must obey the Laws of God! The Gift is a little skit that teaches the meaning of what Grace means. It is included in this article. It is not copyrighted and can be used by anyone. You will find it stated at the end of the skit and the Website where I located it. Enjoy and learn of Him!

Captain:  (not sure he has heard correctly, speaking first to his men, then to the judge)  "Hold your fire!"  "Judge, what did you just say?"

Judge:  (speaking to all, but looking at the captain)  "I want you to shoot me instead of shooting him.  Of my own free choice I will take his place."

Props needed:  desk, 2 chairs, map, new ID cards (drivers license), wallet, credit cards & a checkbook, keys, title to house, title to jet, title to the yacht, title to cars, and lots of play money.  You should provide clothing, at least a coat, that could be put on over the prison clothes.
People needed:  prisoner, captain, guard
The scene:  This scene takes place in the police station.

(Captain sitting at the desk and the prisoner is escorted in by the guard.)

Guard:  "Captain, you asked to see the prisoner.  Here he is."

Captain:  (speaking to the guard)  "You may go now."

Guard:  "Are you OK sir?  This man is a murderer!"

Captain:  "Not according to this paper.  Please leave us alone."

Guard:  "OK sir, but I think there must be something wrong upstairs."  (The guard leaves pointing to his head and making the "crazy" sign with his hand.)

Captain:  (speaking to the prisoner)  "Please, have a seat.  You might recall that before the Judge took your place and was killed he whispered something to me.  Well, what he said was that he had written out his will and he told me where I could find it, but that you had to accept it before it was yours.

I would like to read it to you now:

To whom it may concern:

This is my last will and testament, written by my own hand and under no pressure what-so-ever.  Because the prisoner whom I died for has asked for forgiveness, I hereby grant him total forgiveness.  I also grant him his freedom.

(The prisoner cannot believe his ears..)

Prisoner: "I accept!"   (said with excitement and gets up to leave)

Captain:  "Wait there's more.  Sit down please." (and he continues to read the will)

It is my desire and great privilege to give Mr./Miss________ my personal cars and my entire collection of antique cars.  (The prisoner jumps up pumping the air and yelling and dances around.  The captain tells him to sit down and hands him a photo of the cars.  He also hands him the keys and titles to the fastest, most beautiful cars anyone has ever seen)

It is also my desire that Mr./Miss _________ be given my private island and mansion.  You will find the island marked on this map.  (The captain tries to calm the ex-con down, and hands him the map, the keys to the mansion and the title.)

And because I want Mr/Miss ________ to be happy beyond their wildest dreams I am also giving my yacht, my jet and all my other "toys".  (The captain, shaking his head, tries to calm down the ex-con and gives him/her the keys to all the other toys.)

I do not want him/her to be known as an ex-con and so I am allowing him/her to use my name, and ID cards as needed.  He/she is to be given anything they could ever want and to make sure that happens I am leaving them my entire bank account of 20 billion dollars. (The captain hands him a checkbook and several credit cards.)

And in order for them to get to my (their new) home I am providing a private plane and $10,000 in cash just in case they should need or want something on the way.  (The captain gives the man the ticket and cash.)

Judge B. Wright

(The freed prisoner falls on his knees before the captain crying.)

Prisoner - "I don't deserve this, how can I ever hope to repay this?  I cannot possibly make this up to him.  What am I to do?"

Captain - "This was His gift to you because He loved you.  There isn't any way to repay HIM, and if you tried to it would be like a slap in His face.  He has a few rules that He has written down, and He has asked that you adopt those rules too, but they are all based on LOVE and if they are followed they will make you a great person too.   Do not dishonor the name of the One who died so that you could live.

All you have to do is accept it all.  Don't turn it down, don't refuse, don't resist!  And if you accept this entire gift you may go.  You will be a free and wealthy man/woman.  But if you choose to refuse this gift, you will remain a prisoner and someday you too will die.

Do you accept?"

Prisoner - "I would be a fool to refuse!  Yes!!! Yes!!!  I accept!!!"

(The captain puts a new coat on the man/woman and the freed man leaves with awe on his face, money hanging out of his pockets, keys and papers everywhere.)

Narrator - "Even before you could ask for forgiveness Jesus died so that YOU could live.  He wants you to use His name, and He has even made it possible for you to live in His house and eat His food.  All He asks is that you accept His gift and live by 1 little rule, LOVE.

Will YOU accept
God's Grace?"

The question still lies with you. Will you choose to accept it? God's Grace?

The Brightness of Our Father

When we were Ministers of World United Church, I was asked many times to tell more about Our Father. I thought that the studies we were taught in Science of Mind DID tell about Our Father. Since WUC closed, each morning the reading of the Bible, the HOLY SCRIPTURES is read and I want to invite you to read the Scriptures especially Psalm 139.

It is wise to go to our Website www.universalwisdomfellowship.org and choose the Living Bible (TLB), to read it. You will see a difference in the reading. The first 14 verses are wonderful words that praise Our Father for ALL the things He has done. The next verse is about the FAITH we have in Our Father.

We cannot say that evil is not in this world, because it is. Surely, none of us believes that prejudice is GOOD, or that jealousy is GOOD, or disliking someone to the point of hurting them in many different ways is GOOD.

However, we are to learn about being GOOD so that we can acquire how to choose the GOOD over the unpleasant things that appear to be so enticing, appealing, and tantalizing to our soul.
No one person is better than another person is. Simply, some have learned to use Our Father's thoughts wisely, more wisely than others, for we all are children of Our Father-Black, White, Red, Yellow-all are Our Father's children.

Some want to believe there is no God. How foolish! Those fourteen verses tell us exactly the reason there is a God, and Our Father is HE, SHE, IT.

Remember, our soul was once just like Our Father, but the many incarnations we have experienced has caused it to mingle with evil, which can be immoral, unpleasant, or revolting. It is easy to live with Our Father. Simply seek what it is each morning that He wants of us.

It was delightful to read that He sees the light and the dark as one! Just like Our Father to see it that way. How much fun would life be IF we could see everything in this life as BRIGHTNESS, the brightness of Our Father?

If you can, it is good to purchase the Rainbow Study Bible, Living Bible Edition. Every verse in this Bible is color coded. It tells us the verses about God, Love, Faith, which verses saves us and much, much more. The one I am using belongs to Rev. Fred. It was given to him when he retired from Kaiser in Los Angeles. It is in plain sight, so that I can use it whenever I so choose and thank Kaiser for giving this Bible to him.

We are blessed and do not realize our blessings. We have the saying or affirmation, "I surround myself with the pure "white" light of the Christ." However, I awakened one morning, the question was loud and profound, "Why do you call MY LIGHT white? It is NOT WHITE - IT IS BRIGHT." I sat up amazed at what I heard.

After checking with The Lost Books of Adam and Eve, Adam refers often about not being able to see The Creator's BRIGHT Light. Somewhere, along the way, TRUTH changed to white light. I suggest to you, "Look at the sun (only in the very early hour) and decide, is the light of the sun white or bright?" Then think about how BRIGHT the sun truly is. We are unable to look at it. When Jesus took Peter, James, and John high on the mountain, you remember that Peter said, "The light is so bright, we could not look at him.

Only the Orthodox Jewish Bible (OJB) says that the light was bright. All of the other Bibles say "white." There is no Bible other than this one that speaks of the light as being bright. Think for yourself. Is the SUN WHITE??? We are so accustomed to taking what everyone else says and does, that we forget that Our Father gave us a mind of our own.

I was once afraid to go against the belief of others, too. Now He teaches me to think after Him.

Dr. Holmes once said, "Do not take everything that I say as the truth." We now say the same thing. THINK FOR YOURSELF. Get to know Our Father and realize the Brightness that He truly is and you will know TRUTH first hand.

Rev. Pat

Inspirational Typographic Quote - You are the best adventure

Where Does Adventure Lead Us

It can lead us to many different things. If we use WISDOM, it will lead us to many wonderful things about Our Father, for He is the most wonderful adventurous One of us all.

Just look at the beautiful Universe that He has created! What beauty and what a wonderful experience every time that we learn something new about His Universe. We GROW! We EXPAND our vision, our intelligence, and our mind.
However, it begins with little things, like reading, discussing and talking about Him.

One beautiful way to begin is to bring Our Father one sacrifice from our precious negative thinking. We can choose what we want to give up. We suggest that it be something that is treasured. It may even feel as if it can never be given up. He would love to receive a gift like that, for He sees everything as positive-as one and the same. Then choose a wonderful part of Our Father that can fill that void with delight. Remember, it is always our choice.
Think about the faith, trust, and confidence it took to move from an old religious belief to the Wisdom of Science of Mind. There are many new ideas that this philosophy demands.

Taking responsibility for what happens in our life is enormous and is colossal for the one who prefers to blame someone else or blame Our Father. This, of course, means that we are responsible for what we think, what we say, how we act, and what we do.

When we fail to know something, let us get an understanding from Our Father. He will give us the Wisdom that we seek. This is what King Solomon asked to receive from Our Father-an understanding heart. Solomon was between the age of 12 and 14 when King David appointed him King.

We can ask Our Father to give us an understanding heart so that we will know intuitively what to do when problems abound. However, what is essential does not stop when we thrive. We are to continue with meditation and prayer TO Our Father and the asking for fulfillment of our needs from THE LORD JESUS also known as Yeshua.

Perhaps, you would like to BECOME ADVENTUROUS?

Reverend Dr. Pat

It Is Good to Know the Pope

Memories are wonderful! At an early age, when the Public School would not accept 4 year olds in public school, the Catholic School took on such a venture. Listening to the Pope was great, for his message of peace, hope, honesty, giving in order to receive were all wonderful messages reiterated.

Will our Leaders follow through? Will Our Father's children obey? Will life be different? We here at Universal Wisdom Fellowship believe we are wise children.

I know we are not Bible students, but it would certainly help if we would read it more. It matters not whether it is translated right or wrong. The ideas that the Bible holds are good. It is better, however, if we do not take it literally. What we do not understand, it is best if we use common sense and ask Our Father what He means. Who knows better than He does? After all, it is His Universe.

Our Father has set it up so that any of His servants can speak TRUTH and we as His children are to listen, practice, and obey. Each Religion offers as a presenter for each person's level of understanding. Therefore, it matters NOT the Religion.

We are where our understanding takes us.

Thinking

Think on These Things
  • In Genesis, it tells us that we can live 120 years no matter our mistakes. However, we as Americans seem to want to know how OLD someone is as if that is going to change their life. We have found that this kind of thinking is very heavy on the East Coast thinking about AGE. Here, they call a person elderly when they are 60, 65, 70 and speak of a person of age 78 as "a person of their AGE."
Please read the true story about Cliff Young.

Will we ever understand that THE NUMBER OF YEARS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH OUR LIVINGNESS!!!?

AGE, or how old someone is, is irrelevant! Thinking can make one appear OLD, when this is the constant question, but when we stop asking how old someone is everything changes, because we are made in the image and after the likeness of Our Creator, who NEVER AGES.
  • The question to ask is this, "What did you do to have such Wisdom?"
  •  Practice takes us where we want to be and go!

One thing that we can be certain of and that is Our Father loves us. It is wonderful to know this and to read the words that come from Him. May you know Him and for Him to know you. Although He loves ALL His children, He does not
know ALL of them.

As you read our Newsletter, The Source Within, constantly tell Him of your love for Him. We are so very thankful that you still read The Source Within. May your life be fulfilled and joyful all the days of your life.

Healer s hands outstretched with burst of white energy above on a golden magenta background

Loving Father, I know You as the One Power that created the entire Universe, which contains the stars, the planets, the moon, the heavens, and everything on the Earth. You are Divine and I am created in Your image and after Your likeness.

What a joy to be like YOU. Since I know that You desire me to use my will and to choose wisely, I entertain the idea that I love ALL Your children, good, bad or indifferent, for as I love them, You love me.  My will is to understand what You mean to me and to love everyone.

I ask that You let me guide my will by wisdom. Open this great faculty that I may use it wisely the way You, O LORD use wisdom. Allow Your Holy Angels to assist me as You instructed in Psalm 91 verse 11 that they take charge over my life and protect me in all my ways. I will to will myself always to come to You before I do anything so that Your guidance always accompanies me. I make my will and Our Father's Will one. I agree with Him. Now everything I do succeeds because the Angel of His Presence goes before me and prepares my way. Thank You Father. Thank You Mother and thank You Holy Spirit. I let this be and so it is. Selah. Shalom. Amen and Amen.
