The Wisdom of Peace

Peace is the one attribute that every individual seeks fervently, but it appears to elude many because the steps for acquiring peace are often unknown.

Let us understand the meaning of peace. Peace and peace of mind are two different attitudes of mind and of our being. In order to begin on the pathway of peace, we are to dissolve all negative emotions and clothe ourselves with the garments of love, beauty, and good will to all.

If we consume the heads of envy, pretense, jealousy, and recriminations of all kinds with the fires of Divine Love, we succeed and travel the road of Peace. Love is our answer to peace of mind and that is what we want to plant or sow in our conscious and subconscious mind.

Therefore, this is the beginning of a period of change. However, most of us want to move within the circle of our present experiences and progress upward within that circle to the realm of peace without changing a thing, and that is impossible!

What we send out has to return to us and there is NO LAW in the Universe THAT prevents us from traveling the pathway to Peace.  

Peace means CHANGE in consciousness. It is good to remember that we have the most difficulty accepting what we most need to learn. Often times what we need to learn comes from those that we resent, are jealous of, and the one we may consider our "enemy."

In our textbook, The Science of Mind by Dr. Ernest Holmes on page 246 to 247 encourages us to read, study, think and meditate upon the statements, which tend to calm, give us poise and confidence, and erases all thought of fear and tension.

Rereading these three paragraphs, I realize this is a fascinating and magnificent revelation. The statement reminds us that our nervous system is pure Spirit and that makes our body pure Spiritual Substance. Our body is perfect and harmonious.

The scripture clearly indicates that we are created for Our Father's own pleasure with an eternal relationship, for He placed within us all that we need to make life happy, joyous, harmonious, and peaceful but, we keep looking for the desires of our heart in every place except within ourselves. It is wise to look and analyze ourselves often, for we serve a wise and eternal Father.

Another great concern is for us to cultivating the ability to become untouched by appearances, which could bring on irritation and destroy our peaceful world. However, we can refuse to be hurt by what someone does, or what someone says to us, or about us and simply know that Our Father is Creator.

Are you familiar with King Solomon? He became King when just a boy and King David named him King. He was said that when he approached the most terrible problems, he was in the state of perfect peace!

How many of us can follow him? Think about Noah. What do you think would happen today if he were ordered by God to build Him an ark? This life is more than going to work, being angry, arguing, getting sick, eating, and sleeping. This life is for our learning to correct our mental and spiritual processes.

Mentally, we are to incorporate love in our mentality and spiritually. We are to apply this love as the Christ applied it in all the miracles, the living, the contact with people and in his own spiritual life with the Father-Mother God, Our Father. In other words, we are to let go of the spoils and fill the void with that which is good.

God, Church, Spirituality is not part of a "to do" list, but is what we seek out for the expansion of the soul because we simply want to, and have a great desire to expand our consciousness.

It is part of a "yearning" that we long to know, to be, to desire, to follow through on a daily basis. It is part of what life is itself and because of this longing, we become all that we desire to become. The consuming flame of Divine Love is what we receive when we apply the wisdom of peace.

This is the great wisdom of peace. "Every day retire for a short period of silence. Go within and pray to God, but do not pray to God for peace. Do not pray to God for anything at all. Just sit in the silence and find peace within yourself. Feel peace within yourself. Do this every day." This is the Wisdom of Peace!

Today, I urge you to think only of the best things in life. I encourage you to let go and let God so joy, peace, and harmony may abide within you. I invite you to keep mind stayed on God and live in an eternal NOW, which is filled with good alone. Know that goodness and beauty follows you, and peace and joy accompanies you wherever you are.

We Are All Israelites

Unbelievably, we all are Israelites [please continue to read, it is important]. However, if we believe Religious Science, Science of Mind, The Wisdom of Science of Mind, and New Thought, which gives us a new way of thinking, then we understand that the metaphysical meaning of an Israelite is simply the thoughts, we think. If ALL of us are in accord with Our Father in Heaven, [in attunement with Him] then we ALL are His People.

We know that you may disagree with this if any of us is thinking about Countries, people that are light skinned, dark skinned, pale in color, brown skinned, or people who come from other areas.

On the other hand, when God created man, He did not say anything about a race of people [that may have come when man was trying to build something that would reach the heavens]. He simply created MAN [and we wonder if that was really a man or a MALE that was created].

This idea spanning the world is causing much misunderstanding. When we talk about a woman, sometimes we wonder if the transliteration is correct. Some phrases are impossible when translating from Ancient Aramaic to Latin to Greek to English.

We say, "Let us ask Our Father what the Prophet is saying and what he means?" If He knows us, He answers. We are all His children, but He does not know ALL OF US.

Just as the Israelites [some of them] did not honor God, there are those of us who fails to honor Him. He knows Himself and if you think like Him, then, He knows the ones who are Godlike.

This may turn you off, but try to understand. If you have children, they all may fail to obey you as their parent and begin to think the way THEY WANT and BELIEVE. Well, we as the children of Our Father do the same thing.

Our Father is Omnipresent, Omnipotent, and Omniscient. Let us always remember this.

Energy of Human Mind

How Does My Mind REALLY Work?

Have you ever wondered how you work your mind, the reason certain things happen, when you wanted the opposite? For what reason do we act this way? We want money, but we fail to ask for it. We ask for spiritual qualities and then proceed to worry about the need for money.

Let us affirm that is we have all that we need, and let worry about the NEED go, surely our mind will work differently.

We know what we are to do, but something keeps us from actually doing it with sincerity and with TRUTH in action.

The Father has set up His kingdom on Earth for all to enjoy and yes, first comes the spiritual, the ability to KNOW the spiritual and then the visual of the experience. We have forgotten our teaching from Yeshua we choose to abandon reading the Bible to remember.

Until it returns, confusion and the occasional lack of m

oney will remain. We have to desire it so much that the subconscious will give it up, release it. When that happens, we will then be able to be bring into visualization whatever our mind understands and affirms. WE ALL MUST GROW IN CONSCIOUSNESS!

One thing to remember in growing more spiritual and that is this. When we project our thinking toward how we can become great, or well known, or highly respected, then we are using our understanding selfishly and that is a BIG NO, NO.

When this happens, it is a building of the ego again, which is a residue from our present life and from past lives. We are to annihilate this immediately, for it will prevent Our Father from giving us what we are affirming.

To do this, we are to be watchful of our thoughts, our words, and our statements. It generally takes a lifetime, because love is not easily awakened and we fail to use it wisely. The ego urging often is very strong and comes often without warning.

It means that we must go often to commune with Our Father, even when we are Ministers. Remember, Yeshua often went alone to commune with The Father. We are to do what he did.

Until we annihilate those thoughts, we will remain where we are, for they will keep us just where we are. If we can get past this, we can experience Our Father in ways that we will remember eternally.

We Are Our Father's Children

This is a TRUE statement, for Our Father calls us "His Children." Do we understand what that means to us, and for us? He IS connected to us and there is NOTHING we can do to disconnect ourselves from Him. Thus, we can reject the idea or we can simply accept the fact that we are connected to Our Father.

To us, it is wiser to accept the idea and then proceed to see what we are to do to show Our Father that we understand Him, love Him and want to do everything we can to follow His teachings.

The Wisdom of Science of Mind is exceptional, but it is also wise to question Our Father. It is even wiser to begin the questions with, "for what reason" rather than "WHY?" We can never know why, but we can know the reasoning behind Our Father's Laws.

Our Father is Omniscient (knows all), is Omnipresent (present everywhere and in everything), and Omnipotent (ALL Powerful). The wonderful TRUTH is WE ARE HIS CHILDREN. That means we have the possibility of knowing far more than we now know. We also can reap HIS PRESENCE and operate with glory.  

Omnipotence? Please know that Omnipotence is preserved ONLY for Our Father!

There is, however, so much more that we can attain. We can become aware that we are created in the image of Our Father and after His likeness, thus we can keep healthy, because our body is pure spirit. We can awaken the spirit of kindness so that everyone we meet will feel this kindness. We can throw out all our "gods" so that ONLY the One Father is Supreme in our thoughts.

We have many gods and perhaps we truly do not realize it. Wherever we give our attention, and keep our attention on that thing, it is a god! Take for instance, our cell phones, houses or anything in the house. If our attention is stayed on those things beyond the idea of taking care of them, that is a "god." Money today is a very big "god."

However we can lay down all these things and begin to live as Our Father intended. It can be a most beautiful life, but it is what we are to desire-to be with Him or live a stroppy life. It is our choice. It is Our Father's desire that we choose Him so He can bless us.

Unlock Your Mind

Mental Blocks

For what reason were, we created? What did Our Father God have in Mind when all of this was taking place? Did everything turn out the way Our Heavenly Father planned it?

These are questions that have come to mind, and are inciting our learning now. Does anyone else have the same questions in mind? Have you received answers to these questions?

Life IS truly beautiful, but if we have missed what Our Father has in mind for His children, then we are living a lie. What can we do about it? Plenty!

1. Get rid of the mental blocks of prejudice, pride, pernickety, pedantic, and the plodding, and we will rid ourselves of much of the blocks of the mind. We will find that life will become easy, basic, impartial, and we will become humble and tolerable of others. The Archangel Zadkiel is one that Our Father created to help us when we become intolerable. Call on him, but ask The Father first! That is important. Remember, He must receive the greatest attention. None of His creations is more powerful or better than He.
2. It is wise to begin to study outside the box. Learn everything about life from The Father and the son, Yeshua. Watch DVDs and other religious programs. Learn as much as possible. Then ask questions. Never sit back and take what another believes unless you check it out. All this may sound pernicious, but it is not. It is sound learning. Remember, when it comes to religion every person on EARTH may be at different levels of understanding and as a result, perhaps there are absolutely NO TWO PEOPLE WHO BELIEVE THE VERY SAME THING! There may be variations. It is wise to take this in consideration humbly.

The question was asked years ago about the reasoning that what we were learning in Science of Mind was not followed. The thinking was, "If all we have to do is obey the laws of reasoning, and realize who we are, what can make any problem?" The answer was, "Pat, not everybody thinks like you!"
