Most of us may consider this month the month to celebrate mothers. We trust you love your mother dearly. The Scriptures say we are to honor our mother. We pray you will spend time with her, tell her you love her and while you feel love in your heart, tell Our Father that you love Him, for he is both Father and Mother.
Meditate often upon the writings here, for they too come from Our Father-Mother God.

Wisdom of Science of Mind I Class

You may have taken our classes, but it was many years ago. We always marvel at the fact that our Minister in Los Angeles was told by Dr. Holmes to take the Science of Mind class again.
Every time that we teach the Wisdom of Science of Mind I Class, we become aware of something that we missed before.
If you are having problems, taking the WSOM I Class again will prove there is much to unlearn in our consciousness. We know it works. However, it is up to you to become aware.
WSOM I begins in September 2014. Check our Website for class time.

 | The Disciple Andrew |
Feature Ministry Headline
Andrew, Jesus' Disciple The last three months was the study of Peter, Jesus' Disciple-One of The Twelve, who represents the faculty FAITH. (Recall that the faculties that each of these Disciples represent we will be capitalize). There is far more that we can say about Peter, but I think that you get the idea from what has been given you already. We now come to Andrew, the second one of The Twelve, the brother of Simon Peter. Andrew represents the STRENGTH faculty. Without STRENGTH we falter, for STRENGTH causes us to be able to withstand temptation, sustain us in the most stressful situations and gives us the power to succeed. Without STRENGTH we falter, vacillate or stumble. Can you understand now the reason that Andrew and his brother Peter were called to be part of The Twelve? When one is "sick", it may be that STRENGTH needs strengthening. We could look at the word "sick" to mean this: S=snap, I=it, C=close and K=kid. In other words, as a kid, we are happy, playful, joyful and healthy. However, when we become adults, most people expect us to throw away all those joyful times and act against our true nature. It is as if someone says to us, "You cannot enjoy life. You are supposed to be sick at a certain age. You are supposed to walk bent over. You are supposed to look old at this age and if we are wise, we will use our STRENGTH to keep most of our playful times. It was Jesus who said, "..." The word "ill" can mean this for one who has the STRENGTH that Jesus tells us about. I-I, "L=Love, and the second L=Life. STRENGTH will guide us to box up all that foolishness and give it to Our Father God. We can then give these negative ideas to Our Father and "snap-it-up-kid" and then say, "I love life!" Let Our Father handle all the negatives for us. We are to figure out how to live life playfully as an adult for the next 50, 100, or even 5,268 years and enjoy life like a child. In the Proverbs, Chapter 12:13 says, "Hope deffered makes the heart sick; but when dreams come true at last, there is life and joy." Can you not see that this life, this livingness is supposed to be fun, joyous, free from stress and strain, but somehow we have turned it backwards. We tend to denigrate those who realize that life is joyous. This kind of action requires no STRENGTH. We say that one does not want to grow up simply because we are jealous and wish that we had the gumption or STRENGTH to do what they are doing because we know it brings joy. Wisdom teaches us to learn it is OK to be different. We enter the realm of life to fulfill desires that are incomplete in our past lives and until wee fulfill them, we will continue to return lifetime after lifetime until we do. Even when we tell others of our visions, some laugh. Wisdom will help us realize the importance of an individual voicing their dreams, yet to come true. It is jealousy, which says we lack STRENGTH when we hear the aspirations or goals of another. Become as mature. |

How to Prove God
By Rev. Pat
Let us know that proving Our Father is a matter of technique rather than ability, meaning that it is best to follow a method that anyone can follow.
Many times, we follow peers, because they appear to know so much or may have created a great sum of money. May we say to you that once you know Our Father from the heart everything is possible?
These things require attention before we can prove Our Father.
- Return to Our Father and know that God is God. His words, "Be sill and know that I am God."
- Any idea cherished in the subconscious mind has a profound effect upon the life of the cherisher.
- The subconscious mind will do whatever we tell it to do persistently by our conscious mind to do, from waking us up at a given time to supplying us with courage and stamina and the ability and skill for a given effort. HOWEVER, IT HAS NO MORAL SENSE! It makes no difference whether we tell it to do something "good" or "bad", it will do just that thing regardless of consequences, just like the Genie that Aladdin summoned by rubbing the lamp.
- Our subconscious mind is our servant. It always works for us. It is obedient, faithful, reliable-but impartial!
- If we want to stay out of trouble, we must tell our servant exactly what we want it to do. It will not pay much attention to transitory wishes or to momentary whims, but attends industriously to any desire we cherish habitually, any purpose to which we stick. Our affirmation can be, "I thank you, Loving Father, that I am free, wise and loving and triumphant. I thank you, Loving Father, for giving me the victory." If you have difficulty with religion, the affirmation may be this: "I am free. I am sane, sound, intelligent, wise and strong. I am too sane and intelligent to let anything get me down, too wise and strong to be defeated. I can conquer the world; I am on the right road."
- Few will tell you this. Nevertheless, to Prove Our Father, it is essential that all prejudices, beliefs in race or superiority thoughts be erased. In addition, all Pharisaical thoughts are to go as well. These thoughts lack Divine Love and compassion, which fail to portray that which is the deeper and higher part of the consciousness of Truth. Thoughts similar in nature to the Sadducees (a Jewish religious sect with strong materialistic beliefs) are no longer to be part of the conscious mind or subconscious mind.
- Obedience is a specific, clear-cut, significant and unquestionable requirement. This is the one prerequisite that causes a problem for most of us. It means we are to be in agreement and compliance to Our Father. In other words, it is simply respect, admiration and reverence we are to give Our Father.
- Nothing or no one can prevent or stop the blessings of Our Father. When you know Him, He truly blesses. Know Him in all His ways and blessings will come to you from above.

Earth, The First Heaven
It is unfortunate that we as humans fail to understand that we live in Heaven now. Earth is the first Heaven. That statement tells us that there are other Heavens. How many? We do not know.
However, to know the Mighty Creator of this Universe would mean we are ludicrous to believe that there is only one Heaven. When you hear Ministers of the Traditional Religions tell you that when someone makes a transition they go to Paradise, that is so. When you hear Religious Science Ministers tell you there is no Hell, that is a half truth.
When I asked the question about a person asking forgiveness at the point of death, the answer was, "No one gets away with anything."
As a child, I wondered about a man who lived across the street from us. He would become inebriated and would curse up and down his property for hours. I could not understand how he could ask forgiveness for all the things at the point of death for what he was doing and go to Heaven.
What many who tell you about Our Father and Heaven have failed to tell you is that there are two sides to Paradise-a right side and a wrong side with a huge chasm which separates the two sides. We can only surmise from the story of "The Rich Man and Lazarus" what the two sides mean.
This article will no doubt raise more questions than answers, but we may begin to think that it is wiser to do what Jesus, the Christ taught so that we may land safely on the right side of Paradise, just in case, there is great Truth to what is here.

Live a Moral Life
By Rev. Pat
Most of us probably live a moral life and perhaps, many of us have simply taken it as meaning a "good" life. Please allow me to give you, free from thinking you are unintelligent, all the meanings of the word "moral".
It would be wise to keep the Microsoft Encarta College Thesaurus close by you always as we have the tendency to take for granted the meaning of words.
As I stated above that perhaps many simply understand the word to mean "good". Well, that is so, but these words also mean moral. "Ethical, good, right, honest, decent, proper, honorable, just and principled are the meanings of moral. Then there is a second meaning that means Message, which is a noun and it means: message, meaning, point, significance, lesson, rule, maxim.
To do this correctly, we are to look up each of those words separately and form the tree of the word "moral". You may ask, "Why so much fuss?" When we release anything from our life, sometimes it comes back to face us again. Our words are, "I thought I got rid of that." The answer is yes, but we forgot that whatever it is we try to rid ourselves of, we must release every word, which means every synonym.
Your Reverends learned this a long time ago. I looked up one word that I had problems with many years ago and I went through this in this manner. When I reached deep into the word, I found a term far into the meaning that I never would have realized that I had a problem there.
In my studies, I came across a sentence that if we live as the world lives it will take a long time to get close to Our Father, but if we live a "moral" life, it will take us there quicker.
This was a prompt to look up the word "moral" to understand its many word relationships and what the word "moral" means to each of us. In looking up the word "maxim", it was a surprise as I had related it to maximum. You probably would never make that mistake.
Realizing that another word meaning precept did not amaze me, for teachers of many studies use the word maxim and precept together, but evidently I recalled the one I knew and let the other go. Both these words mean "truth".
What does all of this have to do with living a moral life? I now understand the reason that it is so difficult for us to live a "moral" life because "Truth" is involved. Most of our people today may feel they will have no fun if they have to be honest, truthful or live by rules, guidelines and principles.
However, that is the way Our Father has set things up for us. If we really understand TRUTH, we will find that there is much fun for us to experience when living honestly and truthfully.
What do you think you would feel if you experienced bliss? Or, is that something you would love to experience? Most of us are on the first approach want to understanding Our Father or want to become aware of Him as Spirit and unify ourselves with Him as spirit. Yet, that approach is usually intellectual. Our Father is logical, but we fail in that area, because it requires commonsense and most of us neither have nor use common sense.
How then, will we become aware of living a "moral" life? We say it takes a study of Truth, Life, Divine Love and Wisdom, what Life requires, communion with Jesus Christ, worship of Creator and an honest face to face look at ourselves.

We are so very grateful that you are reading our Website. That tells us you are serious about worshipping Our Father and loving Him deeply. Without Him, life is dull. With Him you have a delightful time on His Earth.
God loves you deeply, more than you will ever understand or know. In fact, more than WE will ever understand or know. You actually belong to Him. Accept it. That is the wisest thing that any of us can do.

Prayer for May 2014
|
God is, always has been and always will be my one Perfect Power, my Guide, my Guard and my Protector. To me, God is ALL THERE IS. I am; God Is. I unify with Our Father. Oh my Lord, Our Father, my God; I know there is only one Power in the Universe, one Heavenly Answer. My Spiritual One, I raise my mind, my heart, my life, my thoughts and give them to You for I know You are my God, my only Authority. I lift up my eyes unto the heavens from whence my help comes, for I know it comes from Thee. Teach me O Lord to know and feel You in everything I meet and see. Teach me to listen to the Master Teacher, Jesus as he encourages me each day. With this consciousness, I know that I am what You created me to be in the very beginning-Your Child. I give thanks with all my heart, mind and soul for all that You do for me and through me. I love You, even though I know You love me more deeply than I will ever understand or know. I am grateful and show my gratitude through obedience to Your Commandments (Decalogue), Precepts, Laws, Ordinances and Judgments with joyful awareness peacefully.
I let this be and so it is. Selah, Amen and Amen.

THE FATHER'S CHILDREN MUST LIVE AN ABUNDANT LIFE. IF YOU LIVE LESS THAN THAT, THEN THE FATHER DOES NOT KNOW YOU -- THAT PART OF YOU. THE FATHER LOVES YOU.
