Our Father Loves His Children |
|
|
 | His Presence may feel warm or be Bright. |
This is a most important time in our life, yet some of us will hang on to the old ways and miss a great opportunity to re-unite with Our Father as His most precious child.
We have our ways, our thoughts, but Our Father has only one thing in Mind and that is Divine Love. We show this best by recognizing Him as "a" or "The" Presence, to feel it, to know it and to receive it.
To understand all that Our Father means to us may be for us to surrender our mind, soul and body to Him. As we allow His Presence to flow through us and realize The Voice of Our Father that we alone know will be to let Him flow from our feet upward through and around our body, mind and aura to the top of our head. It will purify, cleanse and dissolve all imperfections.
This time of year is when we have the watchful eye of Our Father and His careful attention is on each of us. Are we giving the necessary attention to the words of Jesus? Alternatively, are we paying more attention to personalities? On the other hand, please know it is the choice of each one of us as to what to do. Our Father loves us dearly.
In Divine Love and Delight,

The Lenten Season Can Be Important
By the time you receive The Source Within for March, the beginning of Lent will already be here.
Please understand that Lent is not a part of the New Testament or anywhere in the Scriptures can it be found. Rather, it is truly a Church Institution, of which New Thought may or may not participate, but it can be very important to us. It can assist us in becoming closer to Our Father by giving us the opportunity to release criticism, telling untruths, gossiping and any other negative activity in which we tend to participate.
What we can suggest instead of fasting from food to slenderize the body, is to fast from negative thinking and in listening to tittle-tattles, chitchat or just plain gossip about someone we know or anything that we know is untrue.
Refrain from allowing anything that may make its way into our conscious mind that will keep us from being loving, kind and peaceful.
Lent is 40 days, a little better than 5 weeks. It would be wonderful if we would spend about 5 to 15 minutes each day just to unite with Our Father, and then ask Our Father to be with us all day to guide and protect us. Writing our own affirmation and releasing the negative would be wonderful. Wise ones will make this time peaceful. Five minutes or even 2 minutes if that is all the time we can give to Our Father would be wonderful.
Let us know how you come out and if you need our prayers, please feel free to ask. If there is anything, you desire to know, please feel free to ask us. We have kept ourselves safe in the Arms of Our Father.
Have a most wonderful life. Make all days honest, true and sincere.
In Divine Love and Delight,
Rev. Fred and Rev. Pat

Peter, One of "The Twelve"
Part II by Rev. Pat
Peter is called many things by those of today, because this is the level of understanding. Peter felt that he had to protect Jesus. In other words, FAITH protects us when we allow it, but if we do not have the FAITH of Our Father, then we are to lift our understanding until we do.
Jesus taught The Twelve many secrets that they were to keep to themselves. We many times fail to understand what a "secret" really is and find it difficult to keep it.
Lamsa explains to us that when Jesus healed he would tell the person healed that it was a secret and not to tell anyone. Of course, this sparked them to run and tell. This is great psychology, for if Jesus had said, "Go and tell the world" nothing would have been known about his healings. We always want to feel we know more about something of what another may know nothing. Of course, that is a foolish idea since we are children of The One Who Knows Everything and is of One Mind!
We today, love secrets and many of us find it difficult to keep a secret. How well are you about keeping something that is a secret?
The Twelve understood Jesus, for they knew what they could tell and what they had to keep to themselves. The reason was that the people were unable to accept Truth at that time. There are people today who are unable to believe Truth and will snuff it if they can. This we call fear, which is the opposite of FAITH.
Jesus gave Peter an inner knowledge of understanding spiritual things and he was doing his best to use it well. That is what each of us does when FAITH is involved.
However, we forget that Peter was of the Jewish faith. Until our FAITH is well developed, we may wiggle and waggle until things become firm for us or in us. It was after the Crucifixion that Peter truly understood the teachings of Jesus. He truly understood what a strong FAITH does for us and how it operates. He understood the secrets that were given to him.
However, we fear, run and hide, but our FAITH always shows itself in whatever we do. We sometimes deny that the way we act is truly denying who we really are or that Our God is Our Father. This, of course, is how many of us are today. We hear, but we do not truly listen and pay attention to the answers that come from our questions. Thus, we miss Truth on every turn when this happens.
Please know that the Prophets chosen by God spoke Truth and Jesus acknowledged this when he said, "Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill," (Matthew 5:17)
Jesus spoke Truth, but just as the Israelites did not believe Jeremiah who spoke Truth, many still do not believe Jesus today. They do not believe.
The one thing to know is this teaching was never about Peter, the man! It was and still is about the FAITH that Peter had in Our Father or rather about each of us having the FAITH of God Our Father!
We have a great tendency to look at the outside (the appearances) rather than to seek and understand what is inside us. This Jesus saw and knew. Thus, the reason Jesus made this statement, "Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment." Jesus was always telling the people that they were doing wrong things and they did not like this. Yet, they refused to listen to Truth and abide by his teachings.
The things that are said about Peter seals the fact that those who judge by appearances do not know The Lord Jesus Christ or Peter. The great denial is the key. Before FAITH can be developed or established in us as a power that we own, it requires that we rid ourselves of everything that is unlike Our Father. In the Scriptures, we call it "denial".
Thus, it is good to renounce, reject and disown what we think we know and begin to allow, permit FAITH and agree with the Divine Love that Jesus taught and make sure it is alive in us.
Faith requires judgment-WISDOM and most definitely LOVE. This is interesting, for the other two Disciples close to Jesus were John-LOVE and James-WISDOM.
Thus, the question arises, "Is your FAITH strong enough to keep you calm?" Do you understand that this is the reason that Jesus was able to always be calm in the most stressful times? If you look past people, (particularly those friends who want you to pay more attention to them) and focus on their actions, it may allow you to see Truth, the Truth that Jesus taught. That Truth is still taught today.
How do we all act when things point the finger on our actions, our thoughts and our beliefs? What do we actually do? First, we begin to deny Truth, then we become fearful and last we run and hide. Is this what FAITH presented to Peter?
The difference is that Peter had Jewish teachings, understood there were certain things that a Messiah would never do and most of all, he along with James and John saw the transfiguration of Jesus. He saw the face of Jesus become very, very bright. He also saw a bright cloud envelope Moses, Elijah and Jesus. He heard a voice from the cloud say, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!"
When the disciples heard this, they were terrified and fell face down to the ground. Jesus in his kind and gentle way touched them and told them not to be afraid.
Now let us be sensible and ask ourselves, "What would we have done?" Would thoughts about the Romans run through our mind? Would we begin to wonder how the Romans could go so far as to think of crucifying Jesus?
We forget that FAITH is a genuine matter connected to Our Father and when He says I Am always with you, He means I Am always with you. That, my lovely ones is FAITH for us to know.
However, know that we also must have Divine Love (and I use Divine Love, because we fail to understand what True Love really is and how to use it) accompanied by Divine Wisdom in order to have the FAITH of Our Father. This, my friends, is the reason for Peter (FAITH ), James (Wisdom) and John (Love) were always with Jesus. They were intimate with The Father, because The Father was close (intimate) to them. In fact, Jesus was One with The Father. That is what an inherent personality will do.
John tells us in Chapter 14 that we can be like him, do what he did and even more. Please, I entreat you to understand that if you do desire to do what The Lord Jesus Christ did, you must have ALL the virtues that he had and particularly FAITH, Divine Love and Divine Wisdom.
In Divine Love and Delight,
Rev. Pat
It would be ludicrous to believe that an explanation of how to use this Power could be explained in a few lines. Therefore, we ask that you please join us in April for Part III to understand how to use FAITH and secure ourselves with this wonderful and aggressive Power.

FREEDOM IS THE KEY TO HAPPINESS Do you realize in order to truly experience freedom one must be honest, true, live in integrity, never lie, cheat or steal? These are just a few of the virtues. Dishonesty binds us. Lying keeps us bound mentally trying to remember the last lie. Cheating confines us to limitation. Stealing enslaves us, keeping us feeling that there is something that we do not have or cannot experience in this lifetime and liberty seems far away from our reach. When we are truly free, we lack nothing. All things are in place. Sometimes, I become so full and just want to take care of the whole world. I can imagine just how Jesus felt at times when he knew that the ills that were experienced by so many were so unnecessary, yet often times we ourselves get caught in the moment of unnecessary ills. We have to allow for everyone to request their freedom and realize that we do have to ask for what we wish to experience. Nothing comes to us just because we are God's children. Neither does anything come to us just because we go to church, are Religious Scientists or just because we read the News Articles from The Source Within. Freedom requires restrictions and this may be hard to understand. However, when we realize that those restrictions regard our obedience to obey the Cosmic Laws of the Universe, then things will become clear to us. In fact, freedom necessitates, requires demands, calls for, dictates, compels, and imposes a need for restrictions. On the other hand, we have a tendency to see freedom as, "I have to do what I have to do." Such a statement crosses out the real meaning of "freedom." It is wise for us to obey Our Father's Laws, but we, as humans would rather disregard the Cosmic Laws of the Universe because many of those Laws restrict us in doing the things we desire. Yet, when things go wrong, we generally blame Our Father rather than to understand that it is important to obey His Commandments, Laws, Precepts, Judgments and Ordinances. Time usually gives us what we need to become aware of how to live a happy life. All the same, if we do come to terms with ourselves we will see that the life Our Father has given us is truly a wonderful blessing. In Divine Love and Delight, Rev. Pat |

We Are Our Father's Children By Rev. Pat Please allow me to tell you something that you may already know, but may have paid little attention to it. We are a most wonderful creation. Our Father has planned us well. However, we do not always understand what and exactly who we are. To some, we are Our Father's children and it would be wonderful if the word "some" could become "all of us" as that is more true to whom we really are. Since we have full authority to direct our lives, it may appear that some of us make a pure mess of it. Yet, The Father is happy when we understand what and who we really are. It is up to each of us to know that joy is the one part of us that few are able to entertain daily. The Father is totally joy, peace, love and everything that fulfills us, yet, we look aside and believe that there has to be something else that loves us rather than Our Father. I trust that all of us understand that within each of us is a conscious mind, a subconscious mind and a Superconscious mind. We are three in one. Yet, we seemingly operate as one. Usually, that is as a "conscious minded" individual. It is imperative that we understand that the conscious mind represents The Father, the subconscious mind represents the Lord Jesus Christ (also known as Yeshua-Greek name and Eashoa'-His true Aramaic name) and the Holy Spirit represents the Superconscious mind. That is how we know this idea of three in one. Since we are made in the image and after the likeness of Our Father, we also have this same three in one idea in each of us-male and female alike. The conscious mind directs, the subconscious mind receives and answers our requests and the Superconscious Mind makes it all so for every individual. That is the reason it is so important for all of us to always think only well of every individual. However, it also acts in this manner when it involves both male and female in whatever situation either of them may find themselves in the world. A male individual may feel he controls the female and in his mind, she is to do what he wants or desires. Thus, in this situation, the male may require the female to obey his desires and all is well until the female realizes that she is in charge of her own life. When the male is in charge, the conscious mind of the female may feel the need to be quiet and does not respond to what he says. Thus, we get this idea of the male is over the female. He makes all decisions and the female is to obey his desires. This is when many problems arise. As we read Genesis, we see that Our Father created woman to be a helper of man. In some Bibles it reads "an help meet". However, somewhere along the way the idea presented itself that this was man's much desired way to receive free service. This happens within every individual, male or female inwardly, for this is the way it is. The conscious mind directs the action that is to take place. The subconscious mind returns what is given. Thus, we forget Our Father's words and His plan for life. It is time that we refresh the reason for life and know we are here to return to Our Father and serve only Him. Life Is Beautiful! Let us keep it that way. Let us keep the words, "Do unto others as we would have others do unto us." If we keep that rule, we will fulfill Our Father's plan and we will be happy. The Key to Life
By Rev. Pat
It may be that ALL of us want to live a happy, prosperous life and at the same time, ALL of us fail (fall short or unsuccessful) to acquire the necessary skills to attain what we desire. It may be that SOME of us are portraying the art of laziness and this is what keeps us where we are.
However, IF there is a problem, it is in our way of looking at things. We have a tendency to focus out attention on time, things that age and on what happens when time passes. It would be wise to focus out attention on The Almighty Father as He appears to never age. Even in His words, "A thousand years is as a day" to Him we often dismiss or believe it to mean something other than what the Scripture says.
Our other tendency is to take from the Scriptures what we understand and dismiss from the Scriptures what we fail to understand as if it never happens or happened. The wise thing to do would be to firm up what we understand and ask for clarity upon what we fail to understand.
However, IF there is a problem, it is that we fear being wrong! Thus, it appears we will do anything to release the idea that we fail to understand everything, even when the One that Our Father sent to enlighten us said, "It is not for us to know everything."
Therefore, how can we make changes, particularly if we fear being wrong? We are to become humble, peaceful, joyful, loving and faithful. Humility is the key. Humility is the foundation to or in LIFE-living! It requires discretion, judgment that is good, diplomacy, tact and that good old maturity, where many of fall short.
In spite of this, there are many who fear, resent or simply fail to allow humility in their life or conscious thinking. This, of course, will eventually become subconsciously a verity meaning a truth and a reality.
Thus, the best choice and the wisdom to use are as follows: As soon as we realize that, we understand we are spiritual beings we reframe from entering into the world of negativity again. The one who has this understanding is far more advanced than the one who fails to understand this.
Please understand that being advanced does not make any of us better than another. No one person, group, race, culture is better than another person is, group, race or culture. It simply shifts your understanding to a higher growth area and brings you closer to knowing who you really are. It is maturity.
Life has never been about money. It has never been about the Stock Market. It has never been about riches or wealth. Life is about returning to Our Father, to become one with Him, loving Him and doing it willingly. The way is humility.
In Divine Love and Delight,
Rev. Pat

Prayer For March
|
Today is my new day and I live this day serenely. I declare that God is my leader in all things this day. God is my partner in this day. God and I are one. I listen to what The Father says to me this day. I exalt God in everything and praise His Holy Name. I give my mind and heart to God, the Divine Presence and receive His peace, joy, right action and right results. I live today in peace and in joy. I have a consciousness of FAITH. I am filled with peace in my mind and I am submerged in the peace of Our Father. I hold my mind as a center of divine operation and know that all is well with my soul. Since I am created in the image of Our Father and after His Likeness, I know that my higher self is inclined purely and humbly toward perfect health. And So It Is. Selah. Amen.

God Bless You Everyone
